The story is based on people’s destinies and love during the devastating WWI (or The Great War) in the territory of France. The characters are trying to survive the horrors of war during missions, and are followed by a faithful dog companion. In the game the lives of all the characters are inextricably drawn together over the course of the game. Friendship, love, sacrifice, and tragedy befall each one as they help each other to retain their humanity against the horrors of war.
