There are some issues with the Windows port. The screen size kept automatically adjusting itself upon transitions to and from dialogue, battles, and customization menus. This seems to resolve itself if you set the game to fullscreen.

The main focus of the game is in parts collection and the battle system. Parts collection is done by either purchasing them with in-game currency you earn or by completing battles to earn a part (typically one at a time, either a blade, rachet, or bit.) The main goal of the game is to reach the top ranked spots in the main battle location, (known as the 'X' in the show/manga) by defeating ranked NPCs, while increasing your rank. NPCs from the show and manga will make appearances as either bosses or mini-bosses.

You have a limited amount of control when it comes to the actual battle system. You first must angle your blade backwards or forwards, which impacts the initial direction your blade will travel across the field (I've found the only impact this has is to either immediately launch your blade for an extreme line attack or to intercept your opponent's launch angle.) Once you have selected your angle, you wait for a short timer to try to aim for a perfect launch, which impacts your stamina (essentially your "HP" in battle). This timer is very forgiving, making perfect launches easy.

Once your blade hits the field, you have very little control over what it does. You can either attack or counter attacks using a resource meter that gradually fills over time, and you will reach a state where you are faced with a rock-paper-scissors encounter with your opponent. If you performed well by attacking and countering before this event, you have a slight edge over your opponent. These RPS scenarios have the largest impact on your battle, and will frequently end the battle upon the first encounter with most NPCs. Further in, there is some variation in stadiums that can affect your beyblade's performance, but nothing that gives you more control beyond how you build your beyblade before battle and how you click those buttons.

This game reminds me of the Hasbro Beyblade X app. This game is a fine time killer for those who like Beyblade X, but doesn't offer too much outside this. I'd wait for at least a 50% sale on the base game before considering grabbing this digital-only version.

Disclaimer: I have not played enough of the game to speak much on the story or try online PvP.

Sable is an exploration based game that really lets you take the time to just breathe and take the wonderful environment in. Often times I'd find myself climbing to high ground just to mark out a number of neat looking places I wanted to see, and I visited them all, even if some were just cool looking rocks.

This game, and its story, are open-ended. There is no combat, no enemies to fight, no time limit to achieve, you simply take things at your own pace and follow whatever path suits you. It has taken me about 15 hours to complete the entire game, though I can see it taking as little as a few hours if you don't care about seeing everything there is to see (you should though) or up to 20 if you just want to take it easy and explore the world.

That said, I did encounter a number of different bugs during my playthough, mostly related to the UI and framerate drops in areas with a large amount of trees/foliage etc. Most of the time simply exiting to the title screen and continuing solved the problem. I have not experienced any gamebreaking bugs, so despite these occasional UI and performance issues I will give Shedworks two big thumbs up for their first game! I hope to see more out of them in the future!

After completing the game myself, I will recommend Sable to anyone who happens to come across this absolute diamond in the rough. If you want a low-stress, high-freedom game to pass the time with, Sable will be an excellent addition to your library.

An excellent, non-predatory FTP game, well worth the time sink, action is near-constant.

Pros: Classic 3D platform-like levels.
Excellent Lightsaber Combat
Appropriately Scaled Difficulty
Extensive Lore into the SW Universe
Killmoves

Cons: Lack of different worlds (you revisit four worlds several times to unlock new areas)
Lack of replayability beyond completion
Origin-tied
3rd Party DRM

Very good game to play with friends, awesome if you love animals, the board is randomly generated every game.

The game revolves around a corrupted king at the center of the board, while player race to either overthrow him in battle, banish him by collecting spirit stones, or wait until he dies from the rot and claim a prestige victory. bceause of this, games usually do not last more than an hour, so it is great to play if you're low on time or don't like the endless hours of playing games like Risk or Civilization. Cards have animations on them! Game gets updated continually, and has online multiplayer as well. You can create custom rules for your private games too!

Biggest gripe is how expensive the DLC is. Understandable that it is expensive, as the developers are Australian, and most games down there are typically more expensive. The only DLC that can actually affect the game itself if the hero packs. Heros and cards do also get updated and balanced as well.

DRM free version available out of Steam!

Overall, fantastic game, would reccomend to friends, high replay value, absolutely satisfied with my purchases (I have all DLC, it was worth it in the end.)

An absolutely fantastic adventure, full of multiple ways and paths to find yourself to victory, and almost everything is optional. You have total freedom to do whatever you want in this amazing RPG, and despite its age, it still remains as one of THE BEST RPG's of all time. Not only that, but with an active and supporting community contributing to modifying the game in the Steam Workshop for Skyrim, you can make any of your dreams come true.
