It ain't perfect but it's Stalker through and through. Currently in pretty rough shape and missing A-Life but devs seem determined to polish it. Even if they fail there's always the modding scene which has been super active from day one. The first game was in way worse shape when it launched and look at it now so here's hoping.
Great graphics, tons of exploration (109hrs in I have still about 35% of the map to explore and then there's probably many places I have missed), amazing sound and music design, the story is pretty interesting so far if a bit predictable and the atmosphere is just oozing out the screen.

Game released today, I'm 13hr's in and only just left the "tutorial" area. Yeah, it's that good.
DLC/P2W items that some folks are whining about are just regular in-game cheapo cosmetic items you can buy with RC once you reach the first major city- just like DD1.
Performance isn't great, then again with R5 3600, 32 gigs of RAM and RTX 4700 I'm getting ~60 fps in 1440p with everything maxed out, RT on max and DLSS on Quality, could probably do better without RT but w/a.
tldr: If you liked DD1 you will love DD2, just you know- don't try to play it on a 10yrs old hardware.

FromSoft's magnum opus- all the experience from their previous titles combined into a single slightly flawed masterpiece.

EA done right. The game is already perfectly playable both in PvE and PvP modes and devs keep adding new stuff and improvements on a regular basis.

Pros:
-You can still play using Horizons "client" and your progress carries over to Odyssey just fine.
-Being able to walk around the planets, bases and stations is great even if very barebones ATM. The whole FPS experience feels like a nice foundation and I hope it gets improved and expanded without the need to purchase another DLC.
Cons:
-Pretty much everything in Odyssey client is broken ATM including stuff that works 100% fine in Horizons.
-The new UI looks nice but is slow, clunky and unintuitive- looks nice in promotional materials but is a nightmare to use. Guess this is a perfect example of what happens if you hire a graphic designer to do the UI designers work.
-In most cases graphics look worse and the game runs worse. Some players have already found a reason for that which should be easy to fix but F-Dev instead claims that the issue is with the player's setups.

Overall the DLC feels rushed, NMS/Anthem-tier rushed so it might take months for it to be worth buying- for now stick to Horizons. I know I will despite buying Odyssey on launch.

In over 11 years of using Steam this is the first game I have ever refunded.
It's so bad on a fundamental level that I have no hope of it ever becoming a good ARPG unless developers decide to start from scratch.
I'm sad that this is how the Torchlight franchise dies...

Just another, typical Supergiant Games game or in short a masterpiece.

Love this game!

Pros:
-Great graphics that realy capture the aesthetics of WH 40k
-Awesome gameplay, so far the only game that lets you feel like a badass spacer marine
-Great sound effects
-Good music
-Fun multiplayer with both PvP and PvE modes
Cons:
-Wish it was longer
-Disappointing final boss fight
-Minor plot holes
-Sequel- never ever :(
