I was apprehensive to start playing Stardew Valley, because I was anxious that I would miss out on important events if I didnt do everything in year 1. The fact that actually got me to play 140 hours was knowing my own pace of progress wouldn't hinder my enjoyment of the game.
Being able to take my own time to improve my skills: farming, fishing, mining and foraging, created this gameplay loop that hooked me for weeks.
I used a controller for most of the game, and only played on one save, but I am going to start a new one on my switch.
This game is full of detail and care, to the point its a steal for the asking price. Buy this game. Play with friends.

nice characters.
replayable.
coop is fun. (if your friends cooperate)
