When I decided to give this game a try, I was expecting a simple and fun little base builder, but I couldn't have been more wrong. For an early access game, Rimworld is packed with content that will last your for a long time. With a charming artstyle, addictive gameplay, great music, devoted development team, and massive modding community, this game is sure to be a success. Like I said, this game doesn't feel like an early access game at all. It has enough content to be released now and still get great reviews, which is always a good thing when buying a game. And even when you feel like your done with the game, take a look at the steam workshop, because the modding community is one of the most passionant I've ever seen. For the $15 price, I would definintely recommend this game, however that doesn't mean it's perfect.
My first playthrough, I had no idea what I was doing, and my colony immediately crashed and burned, and even after my 10th playthrough, I'm still learning new things you can do in this game, and it's also not easy what so ever. That being said, this game is much more complicated that it looks, and the learning curve can be kinda frightening.
However, if you're a fan of building games, management games, strategy games, or top down combat games, you're sure to like this game, and spend a lot of time with it.
