It's that impossible game that we all know and love, brought back with a gorgeous, sleek, possibly retrowave style. Controls feel good, and the UI is clean but not plain. I've only played it for 11 minutes and I'm already at level 9. So far I'm having a good time, but I have a feeling I might rage with some of the other levels, which is to be expected. Best part? You can shift to sprint, which makes it a bit easier but not in a way that feels cheaty or anything. If you also grew up with CoolMathGames and played the original on there like me, I think you would enjoy this one too. I'll update my review if something changes.

Update: It's still fun! I am currently on level 22

Update 2: Level 28! So close

If you are into walking simulators, this is completely worth getting....at a discount, considering the fact that it's quite short. I loved nearly the whole time I spent on it. One of the achievements was hard to find so I had to look it up (this is if you want to get 100%). I loved the narration and the scenery, but in terms of actual gameplay it is lackluster. I will give it a 7/10

Embarking on a journey of geometric excitement, I recently delved into the mesmerizing world of Cube Runner, and I must admit, the experience left me pleasantly astonished. This game manages to strike a perfect balance between minimalist elegance and pulse-pounding gameplay, making it a must-try for gamers seeking an adrenaline-packed challenge.

Cube Runner immediately captures attention with its sleek, clean aesthetics. The visual design is a testament to the beauty of simplicity, showcasing a striking interplay between bold colors and sharp angles. The environments, while minimalist, are far from monotonous; they evolve as you progress, introducing new challenges and surprises that keep you on your toes.

But the heart of Cube Runner lies in its gameplay mechanics. The concept is straightforward: you control a cube hurtling through a tunnel, navigating a perilous path laden with obstacles and hazards. The controls are intuitive, responding to your movements with impressive accuracy. While it may seem simple at first glance, the game's gradual escalation of difficulty and introduction of new obstacles make for an engaging learning curve.

The sensation of speed is one of the game's strong suits. As you maneuver your cube through the ever-changing maze, you'll feel an exhilarating rush that's both satisfying and intense. The sense of accomplishment that comes with smoothly dodging obstacles at high speeds is unparalleled, making every successful run a fist-pumping victory.

Cube Runner offers a variety of levels that cater to players of all skill levels. Whether you're a novice seeking a relaxed experience or a hardcore gamer hungry for a challenge, the game has something to offer. The levels are well-designed, each introducing unique twists that keep the gameplay fresh and exciting. The addictive "just one more try" mentality is strong with this one, as you'll find yourself repeatedly attempting levels in pursuit of perfection.

One commendable aspect is the game's attention to music and sound. The soundtrack is an integral part of the experience, syncing with the pace of the game and heightening the immersion. The subtle audio cues for approaching obstacles or speed changes add an extra layer of depth to the gameplay, enhancing the overall enjoyment.

My only minor critique is that, at times, the difficulty spikes can feel somewhat abrupt, which might lead to occasional frustration. However, this also contributes to the addictive nature of the game, as conquering these challenges offers a uniquely satisfying sense of accomplishment.

In conclusion, Cube Runner is a shining example of how simplicity can lead to captivating gameplay. With its sleek visuals, heart-pounding speed, and engaging challenges, this game offers an experience that's easy to pick up yet difficult to master. The sense of achievement that comes with mastering a difficult level or achieving a new high score is what keeps players coming back for more. If you're in the mood for a captivating test of reflexes and precision, Cube Runner is an adventure well worth taking.

This no joke looks like one of my poorly-made games I created in Unity in the past. The camera angles are awful, physics are too basic, and the levels are so messy. It's like a 9 year old's first Scratch game but in 3D. It's just pretty low quality overall. But for the first 10 minutes it was alright.

Overall really good for only paying $1.49, however I felt like the gameplay was a little bit underwhelming. But the rest is nice and relaxing.
