I have played all of the souls games to their completion and this is by far the best in series. Amazing world, lore, gameplay, pvp, pve, world design and build choices.

Great port, runs well. Good "extra" functions like speeding up the game up 4X or turning encounters on or off or more makes this game even better than the original.

Pros
- Can easily play a ton of hours
- Every match plays a bit differently
- Good varietry of killers
- Lots of perks to customize your playstyle

Cons
- Higher ranks have long queues
- Players can be toxic sometimes
- Devs are either slow or dont care to fix many core gameplay issues

Overall worth it since the game is constantly updated, devs like to communicate with the players about their progress on the game

Pros :
- Free to play, one of the best F2P games out there
- Lots of Warframes and abilities that suit your style
- Tons of weapons
- Movement system is fluid and parkour looks and handles really smoothly
- Cinematic quests
- Lots of lore tucked away for those interested to know more
- Variety of maps, mission types and bosses
- Loads of customization

Cons :
- RNG heavy. RNG factors in a lot of mechanics which gets annoying
- Loads of farming required to get everything there is
- Not easy on new players and lack of proper tutorials
- Lots of bugs that show up every now and then and we wait for fixes
- Can get repetitive due to lack of variety in maps and enemy types
- Enemy AI is not challenging
- Artificial diffculty from enemy armor and numbers rather than innovative/intelligent enemies

Not recommended. Such a shame as this game is beautiful and has so much potential. Let's start with the positives. Where credit is due, the game looks absolutely goregeous. You will be visiting the same areas multiple times but each time it will feel different due to the weather or time of day.

The voice acting is superb and this is a tried and tested form of interaction in games where the only connection the main character has is with a single person. The dialogue is well written and voice acted. The story is interesting at first and you will be hooked for the most part....until you see the disappinting end. Very anti-climatic.

There are so many things wrong with this game. For one, it is way too short. I explored everything I could, took my time to view the surroundings and I finished it in under 5 hours. Towards the end, you are left wanting for more. The game is ended quite abruptly, perhaps rushed development. I myself said "that's it?!" out loud when I saw the credits roll.

There was so much potential and a lot of wasted mechanics. I am going to nitpick a bit here. The supply caches serve no purpose other than to update your map with a marker, which you probably won't need. So many books in the game that you can 'examine' and most of them have a good deal written on them at the back but serve no purpose. Collecting notes and things in the game serves no purpose. There was a cool segement where you find a pet turtle and you get to name him. No purpose. There are multiple dialog choices in the game which give you different responses but thats about it. They are not tied to the story or the outcome (I could be wrong).

Overall, this is not worth its current price. Again, a shame as this game could have been so much more.

Alan Wake is a story-driven, survival horror thriller. Alan Wake is a writer who comes to the town of Bright Falls for inspiration, to work on his next novel and hopefully get over his writer's block. Bright Falls is a seemingly simple town until things start to happen that only Alan Wake can explain. He wrote those things in his upcoming novel, the same one he is working on. The story is well thought, perhaps one of the finest in a long time.

The game puts you up against the Darkeness and its minions the 'taken' who can only be killed after their shadow 'armor' has been shattered. To do so, they have to be damaged by light before they can be killed. Although the game puts you up against the same enemies for majority of the game, they do tend to ramp up the difficulty and situations to make it seem fresh enough. There are few weapons to choose from and most will be using the revolver and shotgun for the most part, you can forgive that point considering the premise. Its a small town, you won't expect to find M16s or grenade launchers after all.

I recommend this game for anyone who likes survival horror and a good story.
