After more than 100 hours I can firmly state that this game has been the best coop experience I have ever had. I am having a blast both with friends or just matchmaking, the community is amazing. The game brings a fun and silly patriotic atmosphere.

At the time of this review you can fight two types of enemies Terminids (Bugs) and Automatons (Bots). Each faction require a different play style which makes it fun. The game provides 9 levels of difficulty which can make the experience from casual to really challenging.

My favorite aspects of the game are the following:

- The progression system is great, the game has daily objectives and "Global Orders" giving you certain tasks to be completed by the community in a Global collaboration. By playing you will obtain the following: Requisition Slips, Medals, Samples and Super Credits. Requisition slips allow you to buy Stratagems, Medals are used to unlocked both the free and premium battle pass, Samples are used to upgrade your ship and Super credits allow you to buy armor cosmetics and unlock the premium battle pass.

- You decide your style, carry a light armor with a stealthy passive and be fast a sneaky with a jet pack quickly completing main objectives or carry a medium armor with shield generator and be ready to bring hell.

- How smooth and rewarding the gun play feels, if you have good aim you will enjoy popping some crazy head shoots to armored enemies, each weapon brings a different play style. Team play is overpowered, having a balanced team with different stratagems REALLY makes the difference.

The overall performance of the game could be improved but it's pretty solid overall. Be ready to face some bugs from time to time!

There are constant updates regarding weapon balance in an attempt to make weapons viable and don't let META builds take over. (which in certain ways could be done better).

A premium battle pass system exists, each month a new premium battle pass is released which in my experience can mostly be covered by just getting the premium currency while playing the game. The passes do not expire and they are available to be bought and completed at any time. Personally I do not consider them "pay to win" at all since weapon balancing is an important aspect of the game, it's more of a "for fun" content to have additional weapon and cosmetic variety.

The game has a fun lore that it's in constant development and I'm pretty sure a large amount of content is still to come.

PS: As some context regarding the game bad reviews is mostly for the following reasons:

- The game had lots of connectivity issues at launch due of non expected extreme popularity.

- On May 3rd, Sony published an upcoming enforced requirement to link your account to PlayStation Network in order to play. 3 days later this requirement has been officially removed thanks to the efforts of the community.

Great game to chill and share with someone

I think this has been the funniest game I have played in a long time. You either laugh your ass off or end up suffering in the agony of your friend's clumsiness.

Let your friends die, camp the truck, steal all the sanity pills and say dirty things to the ghost.


10/10 masta piece.

As a huge fan of Skate 3 and similar titles like Tony Hawk's Underground 2, Project 8,... I have to admit that Skater XL shows up a big potential.

Pros
- The physics feel solid, as a comparision Skater XL is in a more polished state than Sessions for example.
- The gameplay is satisfactory.
- The controls (playing on a xbox 360 controller) feel pretty good and it's challenging, instead of using one joystick for tricks and another for directions, the joysticks control the legs indepently.

Cons:
- The game has a huge lack of content, not even a main menu or options. The playable area is pretty small.
- I'm scared about the game being left over as many other early access titles that never fully release.

Conclusion, the game feels like a Demo or as a Early concept, it is way too empty. It has great potential it all depends on how the developers keep improving the game. For now, I'll recommend the game as I have faith on the project.

So well, after 5h of solid gameplay here is my feedback.

The game does feel like an Old school COD with the "fast based"action. There are different game modes like: Capture the flag, 3 points Zone control (domination), the classic "Find and Destroy" (attack and defense plating bombs" and Team Deathmatch.

Most of the negative reviews are based on the lack of Official servers, they started to be available today (release was yesterday) and they are working on it.

My personal recommendation it's to browse community servers, search for one that has your region in the title and just be patient, after 2 to 3 tries you should be able to join one without trouble. My experience on community servers has been better overall, more skilled people and people that actually stay during multiple games instead of leaving after a few rounds.


PROS:
- Explosive and fast based playstyle, it honestly feels like I was playing cod2 or cod4, I missed that kind of style.
- Overall smooth performance and Netcode.
- The game aims for a competitive game mode for players that come from COD, CS or even UT.
- Cheap, the price is not a big deal.
- The community looks skilled, at least my first experiences, I've found more skilled players than newbies.


CONS:
- Right now the oficial servers are kinda f***** up, as they already published, they didn't expect this amount of players.
- The gameplay doesn't feel glitchy but there are some big glitches and bugs on the menus which force you to ALT + F4, early access and small team, be patient.
- Graphics are kinda outdated, if you are a CS player like me you would look for High stable FPS (above 144) than graphics so you might be looking to play on LOW most of the time.


If you are a shooter guy that enjoy fast action and you enjoyed COD games on the past you should give it a try.

I'll try to update the review as soon as they fix or update the game.

Started playing Rocket League after the immediate release, probably one of the most fun games that i've played, good to play for fun, good to play competitively, extremely fun to be played with friends.


PROS:

- Extremely fun
- Awesome to play with friends
- MatchMaking system it's pretty good, even playing casuals, you are going to face people with almost the same experience.
- Competitive MatchMaking it's challenging and people use to be friendly almost most of the time.
- Even playing competitively you have tons of fun
- DLC System it's fine, you don't get any advantage from it, plus they are not "expensive" at all, I basically own them all and I don't regret it because they add more variety to the game.

CONS:

- None at the moment, some months ago there were some lag issues, as an european player there are no server issues at all.


Most of the people "bit*hing" about the game it's most of the time because of 2 reasons: First, in their region there are few servers and they get laggy games, if you play on EU / NA your experience should be faultless. Second, they get mad when they lose versus people that have spent more hours than them or just play better, the tryhard it's real.

Extremely fast, hilarious and original, get ready to die tons of times.
