It's sad that it ended so quickly... and to be honest, I didn't expect God of War (2018) to be this great. This is the first time I've touched the God of War series, and even though I'm pretty late to the party because the game has been out for years even getting GOTY, it still fascinates me. I thought it would just be another brutal hack-and-slash game, but behind it all, there's an emotional journey about a father and son, full of pain, growth, and heart. Kratos is not just a god-killing beast anymore - he is a father who is trying to be a better man for his son. And Atreus? The more you play, the more you really start to care about him.

In terms of gameplay, it's very solid. The fight felt heavy but very satisfying, especially when throwing the Leviathan Axe and calling him back — very satisfying. But what really stole my heart was the story. It carries so many emotions from start to finish — lots of quiet moments that make you think, and some scenes that leave you speechless, like "damn, this is beautiful." Even if I play it late, it still feels immortal. For my first God of War game, this is an unforgettable experience... and I really can't wait to continue my journey in Ragnarök.
