The physics in the game are great, the teantacles always folowing the player's car makes the game very dynamic.
Always in acceleration, the only 'brake' is turning the car and it's very hard at the beggining. The outside of screen is playable, making the player test the skill of perception.
I have only not understood when exactly the player dies. Is it when it reaches velocity 0 (zero) or very close?

I have never owned a Metal Gear game. It's a very good gameplay for controller, I use an XboxOne controller, ant it fells good, whoever, I rather play with the WASD keys, and it's not well mapped in the standards. Eventhough we can remap the keys, it has some things to make it better in the controls theme, response time, combos, Use Items-Menu, and the mouse support that exists, but it's poorly refined.

The menus and HUD are very fine, i was surprises by the simplicity and organic flow in the menus, but again, a have not played the latest MG games, and i heard that its just the same as in Phantom Pain. Some says that this games could be a DLC or mod. Anyhow, it fun to play with friends, if you don't have to many people to play, the lobby for matchmaking requires quite a lot of patience, you could play a level or two of Left2Dead (on easy of course) while waiting.

I won't buy it just now, I'll let the richer gamers play it first and find bugs and hope that the Devs fix everything so it become a game and not just a level or two, felling like it's a DLC. Bugs like creatures grabbing-you-animation when you and the creatures are not touching each other, wall-through grabbing (by the creatures), dumb pathways for the AI.

I have wrote back in 2016 that anyone "should not wait to buy it yet". It was full of crashes, OpenGL an Vulkan not working right. It all has long fixed. No more crashes.
Server are always up, full of players, great ping/ms. Not much updated since the new DOOM is being done, but it has a great Multiplayer experience, SnapMap, however, is abandoned, no updates, not even showcase of great maps by the official team.
VR came and is good to play.
