For a guy that currently has 700+ hours (currently as of this comment) I will say that this game is absolutely great if you don't mind a bit of toxicity every now and then. The game feels competitive when you find the right people and I've met a lot of great friends off of this game. I got this game before CS:GO became free (Dec. 26th, 2017, to be exact) and it's one of the most played FPS games I play alongside Team Fortress 2. So, if you like competitive gameplay, or you like to mess around on community servers, or you like the golden days when air-strafing, bhopping, and surfing were a thing, this game is definitely for you. Don't get me wrong, though. This game has official casual games you can still mess around on, but CS:GO is generalized around competitive play. You should definitely consider getting Prime to avoid lots of cheaters that are now in CS:GO due to the new free update. As long as you don't cheat and your "Trust Factor" is high, you won't have to worry about queueing with cheaters. Telling your friends to increase your "Commends" in the game is a great way to improve your Trust Factor.
