An Amazing game! They have balanced everything very well- my biggest gripe is that the dedicated server I play on got most of the resources taken up pretty quickly but that's no issue since you can bring your character to different servers! Loooove it. I like it solo and with friends :)

This game is amazing! It focuses on realism in many different ways, which i find challanging and a welcome relief from today's cut and dried "shoot and be shot" games. You need to forage the zombie infested wilderness, be stealthy, quick and resourceful. Gathering food and water is a constant concern. The water you gather must be boiled or you will get diarrhea and suffer a slow death unless you can make yourself some herbal tea to cure yourself. Food, which can be obtained by looting houses, dead zombies, old cars and trash, can also be hunted. If you hunt and get yourself some nice fresh rabbit or boar meat, zombies can smell you for miles around. This creates an interesting challange and a necessary risk, that you need to quickly cook and contain the meat before you are set upon by zombies. Finding shelter is, in its self, an interesting challange too. Zombies can destroy walls and doors just as well as you can, so fortifying your home or making traps is recommended. Even just staying in your house, using a fireplace or smelting guns or armor can attract zombies. At night zombies run, and there are more than one type. The zombie dogs are particularly lethal. You can plant crops or minecraft it up by digging deep and finding coal and iron and potassium nitrate. With these you can make ammo and guns and armor which are a must if you plan to do more than just survive. You can choose from a premade world, or much like minecraft, a world that is generated. This game is co-op, meaning you can invite your buddies to play with you or just play solo and tough it out yourself. The game is early access, so it is being updated. Updates can be read about on their website. I reccomend this to anyone who likes killing zombies, exploration, survival and crafting.

i was unsure about this game when i first played it because of laura's weak character, but the action, cutscenes, fighting, scenery, drama, and pace sold me. Its much better than i thought it would be :)
