After beginning this franchise in Civilization IV and playing the incredible Civ V, I was very excited for new changes in this game even if others weren't. The new game mechanics of loyalty, water availability, governors, climate change, and districts make this game distinct from its predecessors in a refreshing way.

On this surface this is a great survival horror game that is greatly enhanced when played with friends. However, there is a great and interesting story beneath the surface, pun intended.

Great game, gave me my first anxiety attack!

There is a minor bug that when the game's settings are in the default Direct X 9, the graphics completely bug out. This can be fixed by switching to direct x 11. The gameplay is good, but there isn't much replayability.
