Rainbow Six Siege is a tactical shooter like no other FPS.

Comparing this with other well-known shooter titles like Call of Duty and Battlefield, Rainbow Six Siege takes shooter to the next level. Defend the objective by laying out traps, reinforcing walls, or jamming enemy gadgets. As an attacker, make your way to the objective, throw EMP grenades, breach walls, use drones to obtain intel about the enemies, and overwhelm them with your gadgets. What makes this game more realistic is that the friendly-fire is always on, health-regeneration does not exist, you must avoid running because the footsteps are easily heard, you have to be careful when entering doorways because you never know if there's a trap in place or a CCTV ready to spot you, and you only have one life. Make your bullets count because there's no such thing as restocking ammo. Accomplish the objective with whatever you got or kill the entire enemy team. Be aware of the room you're in by listening to footsteps.

What I like best in this game is that run n gunning everyone won't work. I have to pay attention on everything the enemy does on how they work their tactic. Situational awareness is the key to victory.

The pre-play warning is already freaking me out. 10/10 would sell soul for cupcakes.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is the indirect prequel of Assassin's Creed III. You play as a Caribbean Pirate who sought to have a wealthy life.

Content: Very rich. You have plenty of side missions to complete, treasures to hunt, islands to explore, enemy ships to siege, a fleet to command, forts to take over, and collectibles to collect.
Controls: Not good. I played this on a controller. Most of the time, your character would do something unnecessary like vaulting over objects when you least expect it. The only well-programmed controls is when comandeering your ship.
Graphics: I didn't have enough juice to maximize the settings but it's still beautiful on low-normal.
Stability: I had three crashes but it doesn't seem to be a problem for other computers.

I would recommend this game to those people who love being challenged to complete the game with 100% completion.

The single player story is awesome. It picked up where Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare left off. With the 2-player co-op mode, you get to play with your friend to complete missions. Multiplayer contains more choice of killstreak. From remote-controlled missile to 10-second nuclear strike, multiplayer has been more fun than the previous game.

The multiplayer, however, isn't that great. It has poor matchmaking system and also doesn't have a game browser. The lag can be quite troublesome. The ping is stated as bars instead of approximate number. Hackers is the biggest problem of all. They can unlock every killstreaks, challenges, weapons, and attachments for you. This is a problem in the future gaming community because it will just lose players and Infinity Ward may stop supporting the multiplayer game in the future.

I rated this as negative because the multiplayer which is what making the game fun is badly implemented. It would be more stable if there are dedicated servers for rent to continue the fun match while maintaining a good connection quality.

Base game review:

It's impressive. The artwork and the graphics may be not that quite good but overall I can say that it's beautiful. Story is well-written, there are a variety of enemies, weapons that you can experiment with to create a beautiful attacks, leaderboard ranking, the ability to swap from Mouse + Keyboard to Controller without configuring anything, and difficulty of the game especially when fighting with those ninjas.

The negative side of the game is the movement. When you're in combat, trying to evade is problematic. You are either too early to evade, too late, or you are still attacking so you can't evade. Also when battling Brutes. You can almost never time it properly when trying to perform a charged uppercut. Success rate of performing this move is less than 30%. If you fail, you either get launched into the air or get tackled by the Brute. Some guns that you have to press Space + Right Click doesn't work. Well, it maybe does but you can almost never do it. I'd recommend getting a controller to execute that move properly. As I've mentioned before, you can swap from m+kb to controller whenever you like. This is what I do to execute some of the special moves involving guns.

The option I wanted in the game is camera stability during cut scenes. I get dizzy watching cut scenes because of a shaky camera. I hope that shadow rendering gets a patch. It's ugly if you ask me.

One word I can describe to this game: Fun

The story picked up where Assassin's Creed left off. The combat system is much better than last time, enemy HPs are now shown, you can explore more cities, detection meter is balanced (unlike the first game), enemies can now counter-attack making the game more challenging, chests are scattered all over, enemies search the area first before giving up, and citizens are more reactive to unusual activities.

The negative side is controls. You can easily lose control or make actions that you never meant (such as jumping to your death without pressing jump).

Overall, the game well-balanced, calm in Venice, has a good story, and definitely fun to kill those templars.

Technicalities
Learn Japanese to Survive is a RPGMaker-style educational video game developed by Sleepy Duck and currently published by River Crow Studio. This game is educational in nature while employing turn-based RPG mechanics. The Japanese language has three different writing systems: hiragana, katakana, and kanji. This game covers the hiragana characters while the katakana and kanji are covered in the sequels of the Learn Japanese to Survive series.

This game isn’t very long and you can complete this in six hours though I do not recommend you try to finish this game in one sitting to give yourself more time to actually absorb what you learn or practice writing. With a total of 46 hiragana characters, I played this game by learning ten characters per sitting and I found it to be an effective way to memorize the characters. As this game teaches you how to write in Japanese, you should also prepare a pen and paper and practice writing as the game teaches you.

Art and Music
The art isn’t very impressive, though this doesn’t really matter for a game like this. Be aware that the game is only 720p. As for the music, it’s very lively and each areas have unique soundtrack. As for the dubs, no characters are dubbed but the lessons do have pronunciation samples.

Gameplay
The RPGMaker gameplay is simple: with a top-down camera angle, you move the character in four directions. You may encounter enemies and you engage in a fight. This game implements a random encounter system where you don’t see the enemies as you move around and you are just pulled into battle randomly. I found this mechanic to be annoying as I would rather avoid enemies to do side quests but couldn’t.

The gameplay is simple: you are taught a set of hiragana characters, you are quizzed for it, you go out to do the main quest, fight hiragana monsters while on quest, then rinse and repeat. Sometimes you are taught Japanese vocabulary which you should pay attention to because those are in the final battles. The battle is like matching a specific attack move against a specific enemy. To elaborate further, you would attack a hiragana character with its corresponding English equivalent. For example, the enemy か would be damaged if you answer it with ka but would not be damaged if you attack it with a different answer. You battle hiragana warriors with four members of the party.

At some point in the game, you might think “I already mastered this character. I don’t wanna fight anymore,” and I felt the same and was tempted to hit that “Escape” option whenever I get pulled into battle. But, like many RPG mechanics, enemies do get stronger as you progress further. This means that you shouldn’t neglect your levels and equipment as you might end up getting beaten in scripted and inescapable battles.

Side quests in this game is simple: just talk to an NPC or deliver items requested by the NPC. While these are completely optional, accomplishing side quests earns you more short lessons, bonus points, and money. The bonus points you earn can be used to instantly level up all members of the party.

Plot
The world lived in peace until a certain villain called Noburo unleashes his hiragana warriors everywhere! It is up to you to stop his conquest by learning hiragana and fighting hiragana warriors. Fight alongside with your teacher Misaki and your classmates and put a stop to his plans to world domination.

While this does sound like your average shounen plot, it’s a good element of the game to entice players to keep playing ‘till the end. Sadly, there is no function to enable full-study mode where you only get lessons with the plot disabled. You will have to progress in order to unlock new lessons.

Conclusion
Learn Japanese to Survive: Hiragana Battle is a simple educational game for teaching hiragana. The repetitive gameplay helps you memorize the characters with ease. Although, you might learn hiragana faster elsewhere considering how the game would take more of your time playing it than how much you could have spent that same time studying hiragana elsewhere. We recommend this game to those who would like to try learning Japanese, but we don’t recommend this game to those who have committed themselves into learning Japanese considering the slow pace of the gameplay.
