While I do like the game as a concept, it definitely needs improvement. Unfortunately, it's really hard to get synergies going after the tutorial levels, because there's just too many options, especially weak and situational items, and too much variance into how a round goes, whether the ball not going in the direction you set your item to (thus ruining that round), or you find an item that would be good, but fail to find items and perks that synergize with it on time. The amazing item combos seen on the trailer just aren't that common outside of the tutorial. Unlike other RNG-heavy rougelikes like Binding of Isaac, or Balatro, or even Gungeon, a lot is just out of your control in Ballionaire, making it difficult to get a victory, and losses don't feel particularly enjoyable because it tends to happen from lack of synergizing items, so it feels dull when it happens.

Past all the hardship, it's actually quite fun.

The only game where dying in the tutorial is possible. (And probably acceptable)

P.S. If you don't have a gamepad, prepare to die even more.
P.P.S Great game, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ PC port, but don't let that stop you from playing it. Just make sure to never turn off the FPS cap.
