Notes on the game itself,
The Witcher 3 is an incredible experience, with deep story telling, commenting on the grey line between man and monster, and the stories of other characters intertwining with your own.
It takes heavily from the books and is a great continuation from the Witcher 2.
The graphics are great, still holding up from 2015, and with the new free next-gen update, it's well worth getting, with updates such as ray tracing and a few other goodies in the graphics tab.
Combat might get boring i will admit, but only if you let it, you can incorporate different signs, potions and oils in your combat, spicing things up and keeping the formula entertaining.
The game has side quests which are unique, with a focus on the story in them so you don't feel like you are doing meaningless things, progressing your character and the building of the world.
Of course, you can play this game without prior knowledge of the series, but maybe consider reading some of the books, they're expertly written and tell you all you need to know about what character's and their motives.
Do keep in mind this game is not filled with action at every second, it uses action as a tool to convey the story and keep the world balanced/lively, so keep that in mind.
I personally enjoyed this game as you can probably tell, with it's deep focus on storytelling and worldbuilding, to it's character's and their motives, along with it's two expansions (which, whilst I haven't fully explored, seem to be great from what i've seen of them).
of course you might not trust my opinion considering on steam i've only got 30 hours, but after playing the seeing my brother play it for hundreds of hours over the course over a few years, I think i'm qualified to describe this game to it's fullest as I've now obtained my own copy.
Get it! It's worth it and let's you go at your own pace!

growing up watching people play through this game, and finally playing it myself is worth the money.
nostalgia from playing the same maps the youtubers i watched as a kid did, and messing around with the same stuff, even trying out new things, is timeless.
with friends the experience escalates and i hope this single, simple half-life 2 mod remains as a pivotal point in the history of gaming.

Let's be real, you played this game because you had friends you wanted to play with, or just to have fun with randoms.
Solo play is viable but not as fun, multiplayer is insanely fun.
Recipes are easy, physics are funny asf and the gameplay loop never gets too repetitive.
Worth the download, trust me.

Personally, I myself loved this game, after a birthday gift from some incredible friends I decided to go for it after falling in love with the souls-borne genre after playing dark souls 1.
Let's just say i loved this one.
Sure, bosses are somewhat weak in terms of move sets but they were a challenge and the satisfaction i got was unmatched, the open-world and the exploration is wondrous and an experience on its own, would 100% recommend to anyone new to souls borne and even for veterans.
After coming from GOTY nominations, I must say I cannot recommend this game enough.
This game has an incredible backlog of lore and thousands of hours of care have been put into it.
Story, quests, items, art design, music, all of this just compounds into a brilliant experience.

Extra Notes:

Terraria is a wonderful game. It's about you, a lone player, in a world of mobs filled with slimes, Vultures and Chimeras/Eater of worlds (there are WAY more mobs than what I stated, however those are the most notable ones in the early game). People who say this is a minecraft clone are only right in the way they are both creative sandboxes.

Terraria's art style is impeccably gorgeous, spending hours looking at the background of the overworld while listening to the base soundtrack, It's a different experience, an experience I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone interested in 2D Pixel Art LONG games.

The game's story may not be shone much, however like dark souls, you can piece what happens after every boss you go through. The game never leaves you wanting more, it's progression insanely balanced, same with it's enemy placements.

For example, the moment you think you're extremely overpowered, the game brings you back to the beginning, building you up to bigger bosses, from Cthulu (spelt wrong im bad ok :( to Wall of Flesh, to Plantera to Golem (definitely a wrong progression order but that's all I could think of). Those aren't the only bosses though, there are dozens of bosses, enough to give you endless hours of content, even in the end-game there are plenty of opportunities to advance your character, to getting infinite flight time (Oh yeah did i mention there are wings?) to getting a flying UFO that can break blocks with over 6 lasers at a time! This game has something for everyone, and oh god don't get me started on the mods!

Mods are free to access from sources such as tModLoader, with the most notable consisting of Calamity, Tremor, Thorium, Magic Storage, etc.
Mods add hundreds to even thousands of new items, hundreds of bosses, and add a whole new layer to Terraria's progression, and the world gen, like massive labs in the underworld.

Terraria World Generation is also great! There have been no anomalies as far as I'm aware, and the game itself is wonderfully built, on the left OR right side of the world there are dungeons (unanimous in all worlds), however where biomes such as jungles, hallows, etc are are randomised. Each world gives you a different experience.

Terraria also introduces multiple Technological aspects, such as actuators, wires, the Grand Design, and teleporters. They may be not as advanced OR as advanced as redstone, but they're enough to give a player a wonderfully hidden base by teleporting to the underground. They took time to design these features, and it definitely paid off in my opinion!

I haven't named much of Terraria's building aspects, however every block placement sound is absolutely pristine to hear, and just building your own base from a couple of wood, stone and walls, is such an accomplished feeling. I dearly recommend, to anyone who is not into fighting or mobs, buy this game for the building. You can go nuts! I made a base that led from the underground with rails that flew into the sky with a cloud base, which had a teleporter to other parts of the map! You can build your base underground, in the sky, or even on the ground like a NORMI- jk.

Conclusion:

This review has had no cohesion, but I will say this. Terraria is a wonderful game for any one 3 and up. It is positively easy to understand, hard to master but wonderful to play for all ages. What you have to do is somewhat clear, and the developer team working behind this masterpiece of a game deserve all the credit they get. They listen to the community and actually input things in the games updates!

While lacking in certain gamemodes and slightly difficult to operate for custom workshop maps, it does help your aim, and if you don't notice any improvement then it does operate as an amazing warmup map.

I can't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ take it. I see an image of a random object posted and then I see it, I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ see it. "Oh that looks kinda like the among us guy" it started as. That's funny, that's a cool reference.
