Based out of New York, the young singer thanks her nomadic history for her worldliness and lyrical wisdom. She has lived in Malaysia, The Democratic Republic of Congo, The Czech Republic, Taiwan, China, Turkey, Japan and now the U.S. Mitski’s music was the one keepsake she could carry with her no matter where she landed. Being a well-traveled artist, she is able to pull from multiple cultural experiences to produce profound love stories that any audiences can connect with.
