Edit: Now that the game seems to be unofficially officially dead re: Tim Morten's linkedin I don't think it's in a state that is worth the price, nor do I expect it to be soon if ever.

The basic edition barely has any of the available content and the campaign is an additional $10+ DLC. Just don't bother

After a $30 backing to an early access project you still don't even get access to the whole, short, campaign.

Incredible quality, regardless of it being a fan mod. Adds an amazing amount of content, most if not all of which is quality. If you enjoy the base game this adds a lot more to explore.

I should caveat this bad review with: I still play it occasionally and it can definitely be fun, but it gets frustrating quickly and needs some work. There is potential here and I will change this if I see it worked on.

I'd really like to recommend this game, but the microtransactions are oppressive and the servers are sketchy at best. I was holding off on this review until I started disconnecting from games taking an instant loss (with a fully functioning internet connection).

The matchmaking also doesn't seem to take into account any amount of accumulated experience so you're likely to match with people who have many times your exp and therefore substantially better towers.

Not a huge amount of content, but they've added a lot of cool stuff and a lot of neat surprises.

The grind in this game makes Runescape feel like a fast paced action packed adventure.

Smooth controls, free updates. Pretty much everything you want from this type of game.

Needs more work. Still feels like early access.

Unfortunately it's been discontinued and will likely never get better.

Extremely unoptimized. Lots of problems with lots of things that interfere greatly with gameplay. Will be good if not fantastic in the future very likely.
