If you're looking for other nice games check out "Dinner Date" for a similar experierience. Well sort-of. It's casual like Esther but instead of exploring a visually awe-inspiring island, you get to be a guy waiting to start a date. I don't know exactly why psychologically I find these games similar, but they are both narrated and make me feel uncomfortable...
Also, try "Braid". A lovley little platform game.
