In all honesty, I thought War Thunder was getting somewhat boring: planes have been stable for a while, and tanks do favour tactical positioning to agility and bravado.

Then ships came.
They are easily one of the funniest game you've ever playted: soaring on the breeze to torpedo an enemy ship with your bomber is priceless

Lateral thinking so lateral you have to expand into C^n

Aside from groundbreaking aestethics, the combat system has been wildly improved: camera panic is only a sporadic occurence, and the skills don't break the balance at all.

1* This game is a blast, pure and simple. If you like strategy, this is for you.
2* As the (immensely lucky) partner of an Egyptologist, I commend its historical accuracy: this game is the standing proof that you don't have to go Assassin's Creed to make history interesting. Kudos!
