This game is a collectathon, take that as you will. It has a surprisingly down to earth and heartfelt story. The game's QoL can be improved with a better UI for the map and the controls for navigating the inventory is also a little weird. The Game and map is pretty small so do not expect too much from this game. It works well has just a small, fun, casual game.

I cannot recommend this game due to the fact of the second part of the game is such a slog. This game's first part is such an SSS tier game but then drops to just a mid game, The metriodvania part is so poorly designed with bad fast travel / level / game / boss design around the metriodvania.

The sound design in this game can use a lot of work. As other people have already mentioned, some of the music is quite bad, to the point where I have simply put music to 5 / 100 on the settings. If I were to recommend a suggestion to the dev, it is to do a total revamp of the music and sound to improve this game as it currently stands.

Otherwise, this is a great game. It has some cool unique twists on boss design that I found refreshing. The guns are fun and nice to use. The basic enemies can get a bit rough at some points with some enemies not having good sound cues or having no sound cue at all.
Specifically teh charging enemies, they should have an audio cue when they swerve to turn around and when they hit walls (or when enemies that hit the wall as a mechanics).

The bug system is nice, except for the fact that it feels like I miss way too much with the tongue without the bug that has the autotracking.

The progression is really good. The platforming can be a bit sus with how slippery it can be but overall it is nice.
I think this game is good and is worth supporting the developer. I hope the sound gets updated for this game.

This is a fun linear casual game. Though I would not say to pick it up at full price, maybe on a sale. The lack of card variation is honestly the most disappointing part of the game, but the existing cards and really fun to use mostly. Some of the cards function poorly, but the ones that are good are very fun to use. The game can get a bit repetitive, but the story and writing are good so that you keep playing. I really enjoyed the voice acting and writing specifically. It felt like the characters were alive even though there was not that much to explore. This is a fun small game that is worth playing through. It would be about a 14 hour playthrough going at a normal pace. There are a couple bugs that may or may not break the game, but it was uncommon. I only had 2 major bug problems throughout the whole game. One of EA's better games.

It is a small little platformer. Great for speed running and racing. The only big feedback I can give is to make the webs / cages like the mario cages. Being able to climb off the cage is rather bothersome since going up the cage and grabbing the cage are tied to the same key, Up. This means if you grab the cage / web near the very top you will fall off the cage / web. Some of the levels are also more polished than the others and the difference can be felt. Overall it is a decent small game and is good practice for platformer dexterity.

This game needs more polish. The collision is unlenient, so you will die sometimes despite not being really hit by lethal objects / structures. The level design and its mechanics was not built around the games movement at all. You cannot change the rotation of yourself so if you are in the off rhythm you might as well just lose a life. The UI breaks when the scaling of the window changes at all. There are no control options or any options at all. This game just brings negative emotions. It has a great premise but is poorly executed. The music is good though.

This game is on the verge of being a recommend or not. I am going to give it the thumbs up and say that the overworld puzzles is subpar but I did enjoy the ember puzzles a lot more.

The demo hides this issues with this games QoL and progression. There is little to no player communication that some things are required to progress. Despite this games open world feel, it is not actually open. It was easy for me to get lost not knowing what I was missing or what to do because the game makes it feel like some things are optional when they are not. I feel like I got baited by the demo so hard. Its unfortunate because the gameplay is cool and the music and art are amazing.

The combat system is surprisingly pretty fun, despite how awkward it is at first. And the story is actually pretty good and well thought out. I would say this game is a good pick up on a sale. Certainly a unique experience. Never play a game like this one.

It's a fun game. Late game there are knowledge checks though, so it might be wise to look at a combat log before actually entering the quest line combats.
