another masterpiece addition on the series! especially the 2nd half! love the story and characters, but not really a fan of the english voices, could be improved

boring

just completed the story (excluding true ending that will come out on full release very soon). the game's pretty much complete. the story is an absolute masterpiece, altho require extended reading like visual novel, it's engaging and definitely worth the time spent.

the roguelike runs are very polished, each character has unique mechanic and fill a certain role like standard rpg party, and each boss fights are really unique especially the later bosses. also have huge variance in gears, relics and events that add a lot of replayable value to the game

art style is ♥♥♥ very much my type, lots of cute husbandos (and maybe waifus for others)

Best of its own genre

I know its visual novel, but i didn't think it will be this story heavy with such ff tactic like gameplay, i don't like all the dramas and internal conflicts within the story, it definitely can be written much much better and more engaging. and by the time i reached the battle gameplay, i'm pretty much already exhausted by the story, searching for items, completion for capturing the wild digimons, I end up auto battling everything. after getting into the midgame im pretty much exhausted and decided to skip all optional things, only building affection and go thru the story neglecting all the other aspect as it doesn't feel rewarding at all, auto battle is enough and the reward all the same for all difficulty. this may just be my expectation having played all the digimon games before this one, since this this one differ by a lot. for people who can enjoy very long heavy story driven + drama, enjoy. but this is definitely not for me, wish i can still refund this. big sigh.
