This is essentially Myst in space. If you're into that, you'll probably love this game like so many other people. That said, if you don't like an "open world" game that gives little direction, is made with controller and not keyboard/mouse in mind, a slow plodding storyline that you need to discover, little if any conflict outside of your own mistakes and ignorance (in large part because of little direction given), then this game is not for you.

Fun game, responsive devs. If you're looking for a sim game to waste some time on and to have fun optimizing your menu/workers/layout/etc, this is a great game. It's EA so there are some bugs being worked on, as well as enhancements. The devs share their Trello board on their discord which shows what they're working on and what the status is.

There's probably about 10-20 hours of content currently with the 4 scenarios they have, and based on their level of communication with the community that will only keep increasing, definitely worth the $9-10.

90% of the time you spend will be managing tire tread and fuel usage in races. 10% you're managing the organization/hiring/scouting/building new facilities/researching new tech/building cars/sponsorships.

I tried to give this a good go, but it's really boring spending an hour managing tire tread and fuel usage by calling pit stops, then 5 minutes as a team manager doing everything else. Races need to be automated or skippable, they shouldn't be the main focus of a management sim.

I wanted to like the game, I'm a fan of PvE game modes, but currently there's a weird delay between when you hit a button and the game registers it. I was getting around 130 fps with everything on medium. The movement feels like you have glue on your shoes. The huge delay between clicking to shoot and the actual shot coming out is not fun. The delay made quickly moving your mouse disorienting, thought there was mouse acceleration for a sec.

This is a really refreshing game, with deep mechanics and a high skill ceiling. I come from playing mostly competitive team-based FPS (CS, Val, COD, etc), and this is like a knife round on crack. Ranked 1v1 is a fun challenge, and custom servers (which you can view in the game's server browser) are great for learning 1v1s and seeing how much you still have to learn.

For people who like Battlefield type games, there are really fun casual game modes that put you on a map with a bunch of other players (FFA/TDM) slashing and slinging arrows. The maps are designed well, there are castle buildings, fields, obstructions, plenty of places to get lost or go into a 1v1 situation without anyone near you to ruin the fun. Archery in this game is also fun if you ever liked Hanzo in Overwatch, also it makes people really salty.

There are also PvE mechanics, the Horde game mode, which can be very fun if you like COD Zombies and similar games.

As far as negatives, I haven't really found any yet. Little issues with ping, some issues with me not being good with the fighting mechanics. I would say that more 1v1 style game modes would be fun. Adding bots to battlefield game modes would also be fun, archers that sling arrows every X seconds that hit both teams depending on location.
