Current Review for just looking at menus and controversy with epic account. Wish Steam had a maybe option for recommend. I enjoyed the previous EDF's so I will leave this with a yes for recommend But see bellow for the no.

I dislike that the epic account being required was hidden till day of release on the steam page. This is similar to the Hell Divers 2 debacle. It differs with users still have a chance to fully refund their purchase if they do not like the short notice on account requirements and the game can be fully played in single player with out linking accounts.

After looking at the Epic Online Services (EOS) Overview page EOS it self does not require and EPIC account it self to be used. Many popular games use EOS to enable their multiplayer portion of their games. For example Games like Hades, Risk of Rain 2, Satisfactory, Outer Wilds, Palword, Elden Ring are just a few examples.

Because this game uses CrossPlay it is required to use the EOS Epic Account Services which does require the games users to have epic accounts.

Its one thing to link another account to the game for extra content when its optional, its another thing that you are forced to link account to play the game you all ready own after playing without linking.

For an alpha game it is really fun to play. For me and some of my friends that play it the fun comes from how hard the game is to progress in the normal mode. There is many chactarters to chose from and each has their own play style. Mishka the lovable bear attacks faster at low health where as yoaji is stronger mellea wise and starts with a sowrd. Arena mode can be hard for the first few min's of gameplay but after 10 min's you are on the verge of being unbeatable. I highly recomend this game. If you want a challanging game thats harder then binding of isac but is just as simple this game is for you
