This is really one of the best games out there. Even years after playing, you'll be thinking about it. It's just the perfect game. It has a very unique element: portals. It has an awesome story, and some amazing characters.

A bit difficult to play on a keyboard, so you'll want to have a controller or actual wheel for this game. It's a load of fun, and it can really keep you busy for a while.

Basic Idea:

Tomb Raider tells the story of Lara Croft. You have to fight enemies and solve puzzles to progress. There's a very specific storyline that you're following, and as you progress you learn more and more about the island you're on and its inhabitants.

Pros:

- Nice storyline, you really get to understand the situation as you progress
- About 10 hours of gameplay (can also be considered a con)
- Nice graphics
- Good combat system
- Nice puzzles
- Very awesome cinematic scenes

Cons:

- There's quite a bit of handholding. The game really gives you a clear path to follow, and a lot of the map is remarkably conveniently built
- The sidequests are boring and don't add a lot to the game
- The end is a bit predictable, apart from some minor elements

Good game, with decent graphics. Basically, the idea is this (without too many spoilers): You're a regular guy in a large world. How you play the game is entirely up to you. You can choose to specialize in stealth, hand-to-hand combat, or wizardry, or any combination of those. There are many factions in the world that you can join. For instance, there is the Mage's Guild for people who like to use magic. The general goal of the game is to fight certain enemies, and protect the world.

Pros:
- The main questline takes about 20 hours to complete, but thanks to the sidequests you can stay busy for hundreds of hours
- The graphics are pretty good, especially for it's age.
- The story isn't very predictable
- The world is pretty large, and you're able to go anywhere you want
- There's a tremendous amount of lore, so if you're into that, this is an excellent game

Cons:
- Some parts of the main storyline become very dull and repetitive
- Maybe, if you're a bit unfamiliar with the lore, some parts don't make a lot of sense
- The graphics are ofcourse not very brilliant

Overall: 8/10

Absolutely amazing game! You will not regret buying this game. I wish I could play it again as if it was my first time...

Never buy this game during your finals. It will absorb your time.

On the good side, you will get to know all there is about space travel. You will land on the Moon! You will visit Jupiter (Jool), Venus (Eve) and many more places. Yes it has ridiculous green people, but the game is great. There will come a time when you hate every movie about space, because you can tell how unrealistic they are, there will come a time where you will not be able to recall the names of Jupiter and Venus, but instead call them Jool and Eve, but most importantly, there will come a time where you are screaming of joy, after landing on the moon for the very first time.
