It's still in development, but I like it so far and am interested to see how they build the story! If you enjoyed Subnautica, I highly recommend this game! But if you don't like playing while the game is in development, just wait.

EDIT: After putting more hours into the game, my opinion hasn't changed. But here are some major (spoiler-free!) differences between Subnautica and Below Zero.
1. GIANT land mass with lots of things to explore and navigate.
2. New Resource bar: temperature. Gotta stay warm on the giant ice block. They have a lot of cool ways to counter the cold.
3. No Seamoth, but a Seatruck instead. Honestly, I like the Seatruck better (sacrilege, I know.)
4. Story is just not fully there right now. If you loved the story of Subnautica, just wait on this. If you liked just exploring without direction, I highly recommend you try it out.
