CastleMiner Z was basically Minecraft with guns for me, and I seriously enjoyed it back in the day. Even now, I occasionally return to play it because of how much I liked it, even though it's far from perfect. Honestly, I’d love to see this game get a sequel with modding support.

Wait, it's happening! Check out DigitalDNAGames on YouTube. They are making a remastered version in Unreal Engine 5 and planning to launch a Kickstarter.

As for the game itself, in 2025, it definitely shows its age. You might be better off playing Minecraft with mods instead, but there is still a certain charm to it. Similar to Minecraft, you mine, craft, and shoot monsters.

Pure nostalgia makes me want to give it a "Yes", but since it is an old game and not up to today’s standards, there are a few issues as well. This game might not be for everyone. I would recommend waiting for the remaster if it actually happens. But if you want to support the devs, you can still buy the original.

If you haven’t watched any gameplay footage, just buy it and play it. It’s easily the scariest horror game I’ve ever played. The visuals and music are stunning, and I found myself finishing it in just a couple of sittings because it was so compelling, I had to know what would happen next. That’s all I’ll say; don’t spoil the game for yourself.

War Thunder is a game that tries to be a realistic tank, plane, and ship combat simulator, yet you often die in the most ridiculous ways possible. It’s definitely one of the best games in its genre, and since it’s free-to-play, it’s easy to get into. However, you’ll soon realize that unlocking new vehicles and upgrading them requires a massive grind, unless you’re willing to pay. And the amount of money the game asks for even the simplest things is absurdly high.

Vehicles are grouped into tiers, which makes sense. You won’t see jet fighters facing off against WW1 planes. However, within these tiers, there are definitely overpowered vehicles. What’s worse, the game doesn’t account for upgrades when matchmaking. This means you could be using a tank you’ve never upgraded before, while your opponent has spent hundreds of hours maxing out the same tank. Unsurprisingly, you’re likely to lose. I really disliked the fact that you have to lose repeatedly to eventually climb to the top of the food chain. Instead of feeling like an epic battle simulator, the game often made me feel like a bot for other players to shoot at. You could call it a skill issue, but I don’t believe this game requires much skill at all. It’s as simple as: see the enemy, shoot the enemy. Whoever has more armor, firepower, and speed usually wins.

Another frustrating aspect is the inability to penetrate enemy armor. I hated how often I felt completely helpless against tanks that seemed impenetrable, while they had massive cannons that could one-shot me. War Thunder often jokes about being superior to World of Tanks, but I honestly prefer longer, more engaging battles over being sniped from 5 kilometers away and sent back to the main menu. What’s the point of using a light, fast tank when you can just pick a heavily armored one with a massive cannon? I don’t see one. I’m not sure how pay-to-win the game is, but I can imagine some premium tanks being way too overpowered for their tiers. This is another reason why the game often made me feel like target practice.

In short, it’s a free-to-play game, so give it a try. However, you’ll likely end up frustrated and see just how greedy the game has become. While War Thunder is seriously good at its core, I don’t think it’s for everyone.

I enjoyed this game at first, but I quickly realized there was no real purpose in getting good at it. If you’re looking for a solid competitive game, this isn’t it. The 2D gimmick becomes really annoying over time, and the third-person camera often feels like a crutch, especially when peeking around corners. It’s clear the game isn’t designed to be a competitive experience, yet Strinova tries to position itself as a tactical competitive shooter.

I did like the anime aesthetics and graphics. The developers should have leaned more into PvE and story missions, with competitive PvP as a secondary mode. Honestly, I can see this game being an amazing 4-player co-op anime shooter. Instead, you’re forced to tryhard against players who haven’t touched grass in months. For a few days, that was me, I was grinding hard, trying to improve. But after a while, I started to lose interest. Maybe it’s because of the poor matchmaking, but I’m not entirely sure.

If you’re looking to get good at a shooter, this isn’t the game for you. If you just want an anime-themed shooter, you might get a few hours of fun out of it, but I bet you’ll either get bored or frustrated eventually. That said, it’s free to play, so it might be worth checking out. Ultimately, the choice is yours.

This game has the potential to be Game of the Year. Actually, scratch that - this is the Game of the Year. GTA 6 better not come out this year, because Schoolteacher Simulator would beat it at the Game Awards.

Jokes aside, this game is about an hour long and revolves around being a teacher. As you can tell from the trailers, it doesn’t take itself seriously at all. That said, I didn’t find it particularly hilarious either. It’s somewhere between boring and fun. Fun because of how absurd things get, but also frustrating because the game often tells you to go somewhere without giving clear directions. You end up wandering around aimlessly, unsure of where you’re supposed to go. This approach might have worked if there were a lot of interactable objects or things to discover, but unfortunately, the school feels empty.

I got this game for free, and while I kind of enjoyed it, I don’t think I can fully recommend it. If you’re just looking for a silly game to kill an hour, you might find some enjoyment here. Still, it’s not a game I’d normally recommend to others.

This was my first time playing any Granny game. I’ve always disliked how the original games looked, but in my opinion, this one looks much better. That said, after finishing it, I enjoyed it a lot. The gameplay involves exploring the house, finding puzzle pieces, and figuring out how to escape. Apparently, there are three possible exits, so you have to strategically decide which one works best for you.

I haven’t tried the co-op mode yet, but I’ve heard it only supports two players at a time. For a game advertised as "Granny but co-op," I think this aspect could be improved. For example, they could increase the player count and add a feature to revive your friends.

There are also some bugs that need fixing. At one point, I dropped an item that clipped through the floor and disappeared, forcing me to restart from the beginning.

Overall, I do recommend this game. However, if you’re a fan of the original Granny and are looking for a co-op experience with your friends, this might not feel as amazing as you’d hope.

Also jiggle physics are insane!

It’s like a house flipper game but specifically focused on garages. I was hoping for more depth, but after just two hours of gameplay, I had already unlocked all the skills. The rest of the game revolves around buying garages and decorating them. If you’re looking for a casual game where you can clean up garages and customize them for a few hours, this might be a good game for you.

My biggest complaint is about the graphics. There’s hardly any noticeable difference between the low and ultra settings, yet the game runs poorly enough that I initially thought there was an issue with my computer. If the developers could release a few updates to address the optimization issues and fix some of the visual bugs, I’d be more inclined to recommend it—especially if it’s on sale.

I wish I could give a mixed rating instead of a simple yes or no. Since I did enjoy the two hours I spent playing, I’ll give it a tentative "yes." However, I’m not sure I’d feel the same way if I had purchased the game at full price.
