Hmm, very mixed feelings about this. Shouldn't two runs of the same level with the exact same setup (i.e. without altering anything between them) have the same outcome/result in a physics puzzler? Well, it's not always the case in this game, so sometimes there's also LUCK involved in beating a level...
If you accept that and generally like physics puzzlers, it could be for you - so I'll give it a thumbs up as there is no abstention.

I have to admit I had mixed feelings about the first LiS and couldn't quite understand the very high ratings - it was overdone and simply over the top with that supernatural touch. Luckily, they concentrated on exactly the right things this time around, which is the story and the character interactions. Chloe is, imo, the much more interesting character compared to Max. The writing and also the voice acting is superb and actually make you feel sympathy for the characters; they grew well on me - something that rarely happens in a computer game, at least for me. In the end, the game even left me with a sad feeling, knowing how the story continues/ends for the protagonists in LiS.
Kudos to the makers, an instant favorite for me. Highly recommended!

You really do need an awkward and weird kind of humor to enjoy this... definitely not mine.

Wasn't completely sure if this game would be something for me, so I bought it on sale. Have to say, never thought it being so addictive. Easy to understand, not as easy to master. And although there are generally only 15 different expeditions (of which you have to finish 5 to win the game) the developers added so many features to allow for a great replayability. E.g.:

- 24 explorer characters with different pros and cons allows for a huge amount of different possible explorer teams of 3 characters; even more considering the different captain perks of each character
- all expeditions are shuffled with every playthrough, i.e. map design is random; also some events/actions as well as trophies could be exchanged
- literally hundreds of different possibilities for character trainings, power-ups and entourage/helpers
- with DLC "Emperor's Challenge" the game offers additional daily and weekly challenges
- campfire stories introduce evolving character relationships and additional character buffs

This was well invested money and I can only recommend this game.
