As much as I want to recommend this game, having 75 hours at time of writing it is not a finished game.

Anytime you reload a save you'll notice rocks moving requiring you to destroy them or replace all your mines, train lines not being how you left them often needing rocks or w.e destroying or relaying, stuff in transit now being stuck in place and needing deleting etc you get the idea. Worse still is that due to how the logistics works in the game all your structures will assume resources are on the way, thus not requesting more, thus never receiving said resources. And don't get me started on daring to have a structure not set up to a distribution network/it's idea of what "the closest storage location" is as you'll find trains ferrying resources from one side of the map to the other to store or deliver a resource. You will literally have to set up individual locations unconnected to anything as the only way to get around this.

Furthermore late game feels a bit lackluster and you'll tend to get A LOT of fps drops.

Basically this means when you get to late game it is actually borderline unplayable unless you plan to play the game to completion in one sitting, which is made difficult with the fps drops slowing everything down.

The best way to explain just how game breaking this is would be if you've played factorio each time you logged in half your logistics robots just sit there holding resources while your inserters won't load any factories with resources as they already assume it's full/resources are on the way. And your trains deciding to sit in a station blocking it and not delivering/picking up any resources.

Sadly I have to join the negative review crowd. I've just uninstalled the game as I'm sick of the ads.

Loved the game, great fun. Completed every map.

But they release 1-2gb downloads (8gb updates) purely to push ads down your throat.

There's no content or bug fix or anything else in these updates it's purely "buy this other stuff".

Fine in a mobile game, not in a full priced title.

At least hide it behind some form of extra map or building or something.

Removed their other games from wishlist as well over it because it's a crappy behaviour that needs stamping out.

Sadly seems abandoned which is a shame as it had potential. As is it's a buggy, unfinished mess which is fun with some friends if you can get it for a cpl of $

Everyone ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about "day 1 DLC" clearly didn't get the memo. Anyone you bought the game in the first like month got the DLC.

It's a basic faction DLC, it's nothing special, overpriced but hey it'd total war your gonna get charged for factions. Wait for a total war sale and pick it up for 50% off.

Many hours, great software, great community, well moderated.
Board game exists, this probably has it.

No. Just no. Don't do it. And you know I know what I'm on about. Just check out the hours. Save yourself and any wife/children you hoped to have in the future 'cos their long gone the second you install this game.
Still.. Particle effects are nice.. Even if they do lag out the person on the next server along at times..

Really enjoyed the Metro series, unfortunately not being on steam is a bit offputting, pulling a game after months of essentially free advertising is the grade A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that puts me off the company. Guess that's another game in the torrenting pile!

The game has been in production for that long now that you'd hope it was further along and had more depth to it. Still, I keep returning to it with each (slow to be completed) update. The most recent update has given us features we didn't really need, removed things we liked having in the game and made it so leveling is just stupid.

Essentially the key change is that previously you did an action and got xp towards it. So for example using a mining tool got your xp towards mining tools alongside getting xp and leveling up to spend on perks. Now it's just get xp, level up, buy abilities. Unfortiunatetly you need ~10k xp per level. Mining gives you 1-12xp a time, killing zombines varies but average at 100-800 depending on difficulty. So let's say you do some mining resource gathering and kill 20 zombies. For each level you need. To get to steel crafting you are capped at not being able to learn the skill till level ~70.

Now this game about survival horror has become a grind fest of hunting zombies for xp. Add onto this the high requirements for leveling and limited skill points if you want to get better at killign zombies or mining resources your not getting craft skills till even later. Want to cook bacon and eggs? That's a skill point. Want to level up crafting stuff? That's a skill point. Oh and you also need to level up what are now considered primary attributes to level that up and blurgh. It saps the fun out of the game.

I used to enjoy playing the game, now it just a big grind fest where I struggle to find the fun in there. If you see it for £5 or under pick it up, otherwise ignore it

No loot crates. Solid game.

While a good idea I can't recommend it to others. Take cookie clicker, add potatos, remove cookies, add an ending that is too easy to reach. For an idler game it doesn't take much time to complete. Double the content in it and it may actually be worthwhile but I expect an idler game to take me more than 24 hours to complete
