Video games have been a lifelong hobby for me and after all those years I can easily say that this is the definitive video game. A true litmus test by which all other games are to be judged. Challenging and satisfying down to it's very core, this game will make you feel like you are playing video games again for the first time. It's multiplayer is purposefully woven into the tapestry of it's absolutely brilliant single player quest. Whether you duel, assist or invade other players the choice is yours - as it is also with the way you intricately decide the way your character grows in it's ability. The game will not hold your hand and will try to end you at ever chance but remember, death isn't a bad thing in Dark Souls, giving up is. This is the crown jewel of the action rpg genre. If you are a thinking person this game is not to be missed.
