Shame there isn't a 'positive maybe' for reviews as this game would fit fairly squarely into it. It's an extremely good casual game for the price tag, and looks amazing, but just lacks a few key features and end game content that would make it a definite 'yes'. It's basically got a lot of promise that's yet to be fulfilled.

This isn't your hard-core Sim-city style castle game, with complicated and chaotic micro management, but a much more relaxed and easy to learn casual game. Which is perhaps it's biggest strength, and it's greatest weakness, as the efforts to simplify things (or keep them simple) appear to have made it too simple and lacking in variety.

There is a development plan for the game, and it'll be interesting where they take it, but as mentioned at the top.. right now, it's missing a few things.

A great little puzzle game, with a good deal of hidden depth and a decent learing curve. Can be frustrating at times though, particularly when the UI doesn't give you enough clarifty on what's happening.

I can no longer recommend this game to people. As much as I used to love this game, and playing it, it's just become a DLC cash cow for the makers. The level of new free content being released is not enough to overide the feeling that the game and it's community is being milked for all it's worth.

Various decisions by the makers have left a disinfranchised community struggling to understand how the company has the balls to go back on previously promised statements, yet still expect them to buy additonal content for the game at such a high price point.

The game makers are currently relying on hook ups with more popular games instead of releasing actually decent content to keep a dying community going, and parting with their money. Sorry, but any good will the community had is no longer here.

This game used to be a 10/10 but it's struggling to justify even a 1/10.
