Overall another really solid puzzle game from Croteam! Visually, it is definitely several steps up from Talos Principle 1, but it does make my frames drop often - probably due to all the fancy Unreal Engine 5 lighting and geometry. So perhaps optimization issues, but you’re not really needing high frames in a puzzle game.

I would say that the puzzles are overall easier than the first game, but that’s also due to the new hub-world style system that introduces a unique mechanic in each of the 12 lands. Personally, I tried to give myself a bit of a challenge at each puzzle trying to pretend I was speedrunning each (but not knowing the solution immediately)… I was doing sprint-by grabs and releases, clicking on lasers and connectors like an FPS, never sitting still as if I was in an escape room. That made even the “easy” puzzles feel more high adrenaline and fun. Definitely got stumped a few times and I still have 6 gold door puzzles to do (the hardest in the game)

The philosophy side of these games is always a joy - if it’s not your thing, you can just skip all dialogue and keep puzzling. I enjoy the breaks sometimes for some exposition (although reading all the text logs started to become cumbersome).

Solid game. Wish the bonus puzzles were harder (lost puzzles + star puzzles). There was much more “game breaking” fun in Talos 1 and Easter eggs. But sometimes it’s nice to just have the complete experience laid out before you on a compass / to-do list. Streamlined puzzling.

A game that only asks for about 5 minutes of your time, and repeat as much as you'd like. In addition, there's crossplay so you can play with friends across all platforms!

A relaxing, medium length experience that eases you into the mystery and how to use deductive logic to solve the who, how, and by whom of this game's singular objective. Much like Papers Please, you just delve right in and become better and better at processing what information is available.

One of the best games I've played. Great story telling. Similar to Heavy Rain in "Gameplay". I think it would be fun even to spectate someone playing. Basically like watching a drama TV show unfold. Powerful game
