I also was not implying that "only the good games are made by strictly gamedev graduates". I was implying that this is indicative of the quality of the two games, as atleast one of the devs that I do know of that worked on DDS1 and DDS2 went to school for game development, worked on a project game there, half baked it, and then quit before they finished both the project and their degree.
How are you gonna develop games when you learned half the material to do so and then gave up and quit developing your very first game not even halfway? Kinda seems to have set the precedent early on.
maybe I will change my review if things drastically improve.
