It's a blast! I wasn't sure how well the Helldiver's gameplay would transfer to a third person shooter compared to the twin stick shooting of the first game, but it's the same kind of hectic and lethal gameplay! I have 255 hours in the first game and so far I'm enjoying Helldivers 2 just as much. I can see myself putting a lot of time in this one too. So far I've only had one crash when switching my character voice. The only other minor annoyance is that every time I change anything about my character at the terminal, my title resets to Cadet. Other than that the game has been stable and I've had no trouble playing co-op with my brother. He got disconnected once in a 3 hour session which isn't too bad.

There is a battle pass and a premium currency, but the battlepass can be progressed with Warbonds that you get for completing missions and with those Warbonds you can buy premium currency (Super credits). You can ALSO find super credits on missions in crashed drones sometimes. Only 10 at a time, but it's pretty cool considering many games would force you to just pay money instead.

Overall it's a pretty solid experience so far! The soul of Helldivers is still there in this sequel and I'm grateful for that. The gunplay and movement are very fun and the sound design is amazing! So far the soundtrack is good too, but too soon to tell if it's better than the first game. I'm hoping it gets more intense in higher difficulties like it does in the first game.

EDIT: The devs have been doing a good job so far fixing the major crashes and tweaking existing content to be more fun and less of an RNG pain in the A! They have put adding any new items to the cash shop on hold until they fix the game, so it shows that they are listening to the complaints and feedback of the players. They recently changed the weekly missions to be less annoying too. No more "Do 8 missions on this one specific map" thank the Emperor

It's a ton of fun when it isn't crashing. Been playing it with my brothers and what's here is very solid! The same L4D/Vermintide formula that Fat Shark is good at, but set in 40k this time. Both gunplay and melee are extremely satisfying and the sound design is incredible.

My experience so far has been stable, but for one of my brothers, his game constantly crashes. Sometimes multiple times per mission. He ended up disabling Nvidia DLSS, Reflex, and Vsync, and the game seems to be stable now. I'm using DLSS and Reflex (but no vsync) and my game runs just fine. I have not crashed a single time yet. The only difference is he was using vsync and I wasn't. I don't know why that might be crashing this game specifically, but perhaps it's somehow responsible. We're also both playing in Borderless Window mode, which removes the need for vsync in the first place since it locks your framerate to your desktop's refresh speed. Maybe using borderless mode and vsync at the same time is what is causing problems?

I hope they get the bad ironed out soon, because the good is great. Here's hoping they support the game for a few years so we get more maps to play on.

A bit buggy but a ton of fun! I nice alternative to Phasmophobia. Both games have their own identities and game flow, so this doesn't feel like its trying to copy Phasmo at all. While Phasmo is more polished, Ghost Hunters Corp has the potential to be my favorite between the two. I love how we not only have to figure out what the ghost is, but how to get rid of it. It feels very involved and a successful exorcism is so satisfying; especially on harder difficulties.

Some people complain that the ghost is too aggressive which makes it impossible to gather evidence, but there is a simple way to prevent it from hunting so much: Stop talking inside unless you absolutely have to. When we go in and stay quiet, we're able to gather a lot of evidence before we start to get hunted. We can usually figure out all or most of the steps needed before it gets too angry. We do sometimes get chased, but it doesn't happen nearly as often. Also, the ghost will get seriously pissed once you try an exorcism technique on it, so avoid that until you have all the evidence you need to get it done because once you start, its going to be hard to gather more evidence with a furious ghost.

The biggest bugs/annoyances for me are:

-Ghost position not synchronized between host and clients. It tends to desync and then the host and clients see the ghost in different places, which can lead to you getting killed by a ghost that wasn't even there on your screen.

-Infinite Loading in Multiplayer. This is annoying but can be mostly avoided by following two rules: Do not click on the steering wheel more than once when starting the mission, and do not alt+tab out of the game while its loading. If anyone tabs out, it tends to lock up this way.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this game and I'm enjoying it a lot! It needs some polishing to get it into a better place, but there is already a lot here to have fun with! I'm really looking forward to more maps and hopefully the ability to make custom ones. Love the game so far and I can't wait to see what the devs do with it moving forward. Recommended!!

One of the best co-op games ever! DRG has a nice community of players. It's super rare to run into someone who is actually toxic. Everyone tends to work together really well and playing with randoms is no problem! The gameplay loop is simple but super satisfying. The procedural generation for caves is some of the best I've seen as far as procedural generation goes. The layouts always feel fresh to me and I still get amazed by some of the rooms (and the sheer size of some of them). Deep Rock Galactic is one of my favorite games and is absolutely worth the $30 price tag. Don't worry about whether you have friends to play with already or not, because you'll make plenty of new ones in DRG. Rock and Stone!

One of the most fun building games I've ever played! The amount of depth and complexity to it is INSANE, from building the vehicles themselves to designing weaponry piece by piece. I spent many hours messing around experimenting with building APS cannons before I even built a ship to put them on. Building weapons is still one of my favorite things to do in FTD! I've always loved building vehicles and contraptions in games, from The Incredible Machine as a little kid to building wonky vehicles in GMOD. The satisfaction of having an idea for a vehicle and working your way through the little problems to completion is so satisfying.

As far as vehicles go, the physics simulation is great! The different shaped blocks actually matter in how you use them. Slopes and wedges reduce drag, and the steeper the slope the greater the reduction. Building a proper hull with smooth contours feels so satisfying when you get the hang of it! Shaping a hull can be frustrating at first until you learn how all the shapes fit and where to best use them. My advice to beginners on this is to spend some time experimenting with the different shapes and seeing how you can pair them together; like pairing the slopes, corner pieces, and inverse wedges to make smooth diagonal pieces. The better you understand how to use the blocks, the easier it will be to shape what you want. After enough practice, you'll know exactly what pieces to use to achieve the shape you want.

The building editor is pretty powerful and I like being able to switch between the key-based mode and mouse-based mode with the press of a button. Key-based mode felt awkward at first, but I find myself using it more than mouse mode now. Its great for precision and for placing long lines of blocks. The game has the standard features of copy/paste via the Prefab tool and Undo/Redo. It was a blessed day when Undo/Redo was added to the game. No more heartbreak when accidentally severing a column of blocks!

My favorite part about From the Depths? Actually using the vehicles for something! A few builders I've played have had satisfying construction, but not much to do with the vehicle once it was built. Stormworks is an exception. In FTD, there is a campaign mode where you can put your creations to the test in a sort of RTS style game mode with resource harvesting and management. I haven't gone very far in the campaign yet but it has inspired me to make new vehicles to solve problems as they arise, vehicles that I may not have ever built. A recent example is a resource carrying drone with repair tentacles. I'm building radar installations on the various islands to provide a greater view of the map, but ferrying the resources there via boat takes a while. Not to mention, I have to risk a combat encounter and potentially lose precious resources if one of my ships are sank. The drone is super cheap, fast, and can also pull double duty as a repair bot. I can send it out to islands quickly to get stuff built, and if it gets destroyed by the enemy I am not really losing much. Just playing FTD solely as a building/combat game I would have had no need to build that little drone, but the campaign created a need for it and I've had a lot of fun building it!

All in all, FTD has become my favorite vehicle building game. It's satisfying to see an idea come to life, and tweaking it until it behaves exactly how you want is very rewarding. With the pletora of pieces availble, the level of complexity is endless. You can make super simple vehicles and mind-bogglingly complex ones. Being able to put the vehicles through combat is great fun too. Who doesn't like blowing things up? If you're already a fan of building games or you'd like to start, give FTD a go. It's complex, but all it asks is your patience and willingness to learn! The in game tutorials are a great place to get your feet wet and there are also plenty of tutorials on YouTube. Give the youtuber BorderWise a look. He's always putting out new FTD content and has taught me quite a lot with his videos.

10/10 a great game with a passionate dev team. Well done

I can be naked in my inventory but not actually in game. How am I supposed to harass the residents of my apartment this way?

This is a fantastic game! Feels like real ghost hunting. The best part is that its a true horror game. It doesn't rely on cheap jumpscares or gimmicks. Instead, its the environment and the constant suspense of what might happen that builds a sense of dread, even without much happening. It's a lot of fun to play with friends and very spooky to play on your own. Crucifix comes with me everywhere!

Good graphics, great environments, and great sound design. Definitely looking forward to more maps and more entity types hopefully!

For $13? A no brainer if you enjoy horror or suspenseful games, You won't be disappointed!
