Game will randomly ban you for seemingly no reason. I can't even afford to cheat in games let alone some beta test game. So I will change this review once the unjust ban is revoked. This is a well known issue btw I'm not the only one as the game seems to also ban users for simply using a Steam Deck or even just having ReWASD installed. The support is basically zero help just filled with automated responses and no actual review process as anyone with eyes could tell I wasn't cheating or anything plus it takes three days in between each response which is just even more frustrating because I don't deserve the ban and I'm being punished for something I didn't do.
Update: Seems I was banned for "repeated login attempts" but a 10 year ban for that? Seriously?? Especially when theres a secret item you get during a full moon phase and you have to log out and log back in to refresh it. Also if you think I was cheating and am just complaining because I got caught think again I can prove I wasn't. Oh and apparently gold sellers are only getting 1 day mutes smh.

An MMO That respects your time and doesn't cost a subscription to play. Some may be turned off by the lack of vertical progression but the horizontal progression is a way better system imo as it avoids the biggest issue of power creep.
- Is the game Pay to Win?
I'd say technically yes but it's mostly just pay for convenience (which imo is a form of p2w) and it honestly doesnt really matter as most stuff can be grinded out with gold instead of real money. You can buy gold with real money and then use that money for a Legendary Weapon but that's still just a pay for convenience / pay for cosmetic at that point as Ascended gear which has the same exact stats cannot be purchased.
- Is this game Dead?
Hell no it isn't. You can almost always find a group for any content in the game if you think the game is dead just try and do a meta event.
- Is there an Endgame?
Yup there is raids, pvp, open world content all that are very fun endgame stuff plus the grind for a legendary weapon or armor piece.

This game is one of the best MMOs I've played it respects your time in that when you get something really cool it will still be just as cool and useful in every expansion. There is no arbitrary grind for the next big gear upgrade so you just have the freedom to experience the world the game is set in. Tried it and didn't like it a while ago? No worries you can pick up right where you left off. The only negative thing I can say is it takes a bit for you to get into the flow of the game but there is a lot of distractions that will probably catch your eye as you play such as Jumping Puzzles, Dynamic Events, Seeing a guy with cool gear and trying to figure out how to get it, and so on.

This game is fantastic. There's almost too much content per Act of the game. I've played over 100 hours and I still find stuff in act 1 that I didn't know existed. The character writing is amazing each character has a unique personality and when romanced they don't all act the same either like most games when their are romance options.
Do not buy this game if you're going to hate turn based combat. Combat can be very slow but some strategies can make it very easy. I recommend playing this game with one other person if you're looking for a multiplayer experience as the companions have some well written dialogue for certain scenarios and you will miss out if you play with a four player party. I also highly recommend playing as the Dark Urge during one your play-throughs as it ties into the story very well and they're fully customizable.
The Triple-A companies don't want you to play this game because they know that if you play it then you'll realize the absolute ♥♥♥♥ that they've been shoveling into their games. Larion has outdone their previous titles here and outdone almost every game this last decade.

Played for a bit pretty good.

Great game and allows for extensive mods when you finally get bored the hundreds of hours for the base game.
Only gripe is that it needs an option for WASD Movement imho.

Amazing game only complaint is it needs to be optimized better as I meet the requirements but still runs at low framerate with medium settings.

This game always friendzones you plz make a good ending
