By far the best dragon game there is. If you are looking for advanced gameplay mechanics, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a fantastic adventure full of gorgeous art and characters, you won't regret playing this game. Also - I recommend looking up as little about the game as possible before you start playing. If the premise sounds at least a little appealing, try out the demo.

I played through the very first episode when it came out and was satisfied.

But then the second episode came out - for free, for everyone that already owned the first. It tripled the gametime, added new weapons, enemies, lore and RPG elements, daresay even made the music and art/atmosphere better. This game was already worth getting it, now its a must have for old-school FPS fans.

If the soundtrack for Doom 2016 was Godlike, the soundtrack for Doom Eternal is Ultra-Godlike. Oh yeah, and it helps that the game is pretty much an improvement in every other aspect of its predecessor too!

Early Access Review
If you are a fan of D**m RL, you need to play this game. I died five times in the first level and I enjoyed every moment of it. Compared to other Roguelikes, you don't unlock "new stuff" to make your future playthroughs easier. Instead, you unlock more challenges and medals that will keep you coming back for more and challenge you in unique ways. The game is in Early access but so far haven't noticed any bugs.

There is a lot to love in this game, the humor, lightheartedness, build-your-own-dungeon, steam-workshop the rpg mechanics. However, that all is somewhat buried under a boatload of repetitiveness and grind. The leveling up takes ages, several dungeons just to be precise, and the monster variety is... pretty much none. You will be fighting the exact same mobs, using the exact same skills for a very, very long time.

This game needs a big overhaul of its mechanics, the map exploration "feels" almost like Desktop dungeons, a very good tactical game, yet the mechanics are really limited, one ability per character. The same applies to the combat which as I mentioned earlier tends to be against the same four enemy types the whole time.

There's also crafting, some item purchasing and equipment, however these features also feel rather "half-baked". Simplicity can do wonders, and rather than having half-thought out mechanics, this game would benefit from having fewer but more fleshed out and fun to use.

In its current state, I cannot recommend this game, it tries to do many things but succeeds at nothing.
