This game is terrible! It is full of cheap kills and vulgar language via this "Nerd" character who is nothing more than a cheap megaman knockoff who proceeds to whine about every single thing this stupid game has to offer. There are not very many levels and all of them are crafted with the level design equivalent of something an 11 year old boy drew on a piece of paper when he was supposed to be paying attention to math class. Tons of one-hit kill blocks muck up what could have at least been a mediocre yet fun little romp through the somewhat clever parody levels of other much better games. But that's it there are only 6 or 7 levels! That's HALF of one megaman game. Also this nerd is not your only character you play as. He has friends - go figure - a nerd with friends! Doesn't seem very nerdy if you A) have friends and B) have a cool gun that you fire at everything. That's what cool people have! In fact the only thing nerdy about this stereotype is that hes got glasses and whines!

The other characters all suck and do not help you out in any way and the collectible "♥♥♥♥ pickles" add nothing to the game. There is no reason to collect anything in this game unless you are really so bored that you'd want to play this atrocity again. Oh, and despite the pretty colors and simple gameplay, this game is NOT for kids. Heck I don't think its for adults either as the humor is an uncanny blend of juvenile and adult (see: "♥♥♥♥ Pickle"). This is a game that I can only reccomend for sick twisted minds of 20-something stoners and drunks who want something stupid to laugh at for about 30 minutes before getting tired of dying and need to go play GTA while they get high and blow up cars and run people over.

Depraved, dawdling and unfunny. I give AVGN Adventures a 9/10 and you should definitely watch the guy's videos and actually find them funny before trying this game otherwise you will believe every word in the review I just wrote.

Cave Story...what hasn't been said about this game already? it's a great gaming experience for gamers new and old. Solid gameplay, excellent level design, great story - Cave Story. Play it!
