What draw me to this game was no trailer or any review but the simple gameplay. I bought this way back in '13 and got maybe 3-4 hours into it. I'm pretty sure it just made me upset and I forgot about it. So fast forward to now I see the title amongst 100+ games I look past everyday and decieded to load it back up.

So I looked at the two video settings, play through the tutorial, & proceeded to put it on easy with the first ship. I then proceed to pour 15 hours into this game just brute forcing while repeating to myself "I just wanna finish the first board." I just can't figure out why I can't get past this board without having 4 slugs teleport onto my ship and murder everyone or running out of fuel and having a solar flare just werck me. Hours later I can finally make it the 8th section while just being a absolute meanie to everyone I come across. "Oh, your a slaver? DIE."

Finally I see the last boss for the first time, It's good fight. I'm actually making it pass the shields and just disabling the guns firing back at me. The hull is damaged beyond a fast repair. Half his crew is dead. My enemy is down to 3 shots left with his weapons disabled & here I am just waiting on the cooldown to fire my last reprisal. My entire crew dies... The greatest displeasure comes over me. I stare deep at the 'Game Over' screen. What killed me? I hit "Z" and opened all the door and drained the oxygen out of the cabin.

I finally give up and just started exploring and not caring. Turns out I'm getting so much more now and I make it to the finale. I beat the giant ship, and find out I have to beat 3 of them in total. I do it with ease. "Wha?" I jump up with excitment. A great load off my shoulders... now for normal mode and maybe turn on the advance content?

8.5/10 (in game achievements not steam ones).
