Hello! If you’re reading this, then most likely you’ve visited my profile because I’ve intentionally ruined a Dota game. And now you’re angry and you want to know why.

I do this quite often. Not because I want to, or because it gives me pleasure, but to teach abusers a lesson. I don’t really care about my account’s MMR, what I do care about is QUALITY games, in which people play the best and (most importantly) respect their assigned roles. Players have the option to play “simple” ranked mode, without role que, and pick whatever hero they like; in ranked roles, you’re supposed to pick a hero that’s fitting for the role you have. This is the reason why I most often chose to ruin a game. I WILL ruin the game when:

[*]1. Players who are support do not pick support hero, instead pick hard carry hero (Lifestealer, PA, Jugg, etc..)
[*]2. Players who are support pick a FAKE support, with which they have no intention of actually supporting, and will build the same items as the core version of that hero (Windranger going Maelstrom, Zeus going AetherLens Aghanim Refresher, Mirana going damage items, Nature’sProphet going midas, etc..)
[*]3. Supports don’t pick their heroes early & make cores lose gold during pick phase.
[*]4. Supports don’t do their job (steal farm in lane, don’t buy detection, leave carry solo in a hard lane, etc.)
[*]5. Griefing. When griefed I will DEFINETLY grief back.

I use the DotaPlus app, not the one from Valve, but the one from Overwolf. It helps with identifying hero-spammers, smurf, players with very high or very low winrate, etc. The feature that I use most is the one that allows me to make notes on player’s profiles, so if someone griefs the game or does any of the game-ruining stuff listed above, I will make a note of that in DotaPlus, and the next time I meet that player in ranked matchmaking I will ruin. This is probably what happened to YOU, I have a note on you for a match we played sometime in the past (could be months ago), and now I’ve ruined your game and you have no idea why 😊
