Ett relä fungerar så att man binder en kopparspole runt en metallbit som när man lägger en spänning på spolen så bildas det ett magnetfält runt metallbiten så att en switch ändras från normally closed till normally open.

först kopplade vi common till tryckknappen så att den bytade från NO och NC som vi senare kopplade till lampor och på så vis kunde vi styra vilken lampa som skulle vara tänd med tryckknappen.

Mindstorm
vi byggde upp roboten enligt ritningarna. Vi byggde larvband och fäste det på roboten. Sedan så skrev vi ett program på datorn så att den körde runt och gjorde en sväng på 360 grader och gå tillbaka till start position. Sedan så satte vi på en modul som gjorde så att vi kunde köra den radiostyrt.
