There's a lot of potential here. Three new survivors, lots of new items (albeit some underwhelming or outright dangerous to use), new stages, some interesting new enemies and two new elite types that shake the formula up just enough. Unfortunately, the new survivors feel clunky and underpowered as they are. Seeker's R ability is so small that you're deliberately putting yourself in danger if you actually want to hit anything with it, only making it useful for the resurrection ability. Her projectiles are massive but have small hitboxes, so it's hard to actually hit anything with her M1.

That being said.. My god, the bugs. The BUGS.
Just a few things I noticed in the couple of hours I played:
- Items and chests don't have outlines
- I fell through the world a few times, as did enemies. The new child enemy can teleport into walls. Particularly frustrating when you're fighting a horde of many.
- Railgunner's Supercharge shot doesn't always work properly. Abilities sometimes weren't disabled after firing.
- Game physics are utterly broken. Artificer's alternate R sends her into the skybox. Loader's grapple goes too far. The halcyon knight sends you into the stratosphere with his spin attack.
This, I learned later, is because game physics are now tied to framerate. Stellar coding, Gearbox!
- Dying to projectiles I couldn't see or hear. Usually if I die or take a lot of damage, I can tell what did it. There were so many times in this DLC where I was left genuinely baffled by seemingly random deaths. Not to mention the broken health bar and lack of low hp indication.
- Friends being revived mid teleporter event? Nobody played Seeker, and no larvae or dio's. We were left scratching our heads at that one.

Can't recommend this DLC until they fix the bugs. Since this review, I've played once more and have decided to put the game down until it's fixed. It's just too frustrating to play.

The new music is a religious experience, though, 10/10 on that front.
