Its like bannerlord in VR. It has Blade and sorcery style fighting, but with massive npc armies. A campaign, side quests, and progression make for satisfying gameplay. Having a campaign map to navigate between battles and quests adds an extra depth and unique feel.

Great game with good puzzles. Has a useful hint system. I was most impressed with the how they told the story with the actors and the visuals. It was a ton of fun to see the actors in such detail and be able to move around them.

I was hesitent after seeing so many negative reviews. I'm a big fan of the old anno series and have played nearly every game.

That said I've been having a lot of fun with this anno 2205. I'm not sure why its getting so much flak. The real cons are no multiplayer and no procedurally generated maps which limits replay.

However, it being my first playthrough (and I was always going to play single player first even if there was a multiplayer option) I've been having a ton of fun. Its taking a lot of the painful and monotonous parts out. I dont have to retweak every trade route painstakingly when my supply line changes, its much easier and leaves me more time to playing. Moving buildings around is awesome as your cities develope and grow.

Sure the side missions are repetetive and feel unnecessary after a while but they're there if you need/want.

Fun game. I highly reccommend

Spent a lot of hours on this game and series. Love it. Stays true to the classics while bringing a fresh new twist.

Everyone on here is bashing Uplay, but if you can wear your big boy pants long enough to get over that you'll find an extremely rewarding and fun game.

Its got a great campaign but I still prefer the freeplay. You can use items acquired in one playthrough in another playthrough which is great for speeding up the first hour of gameplay.

You can choose between two factions depending on the resources and everything available to you.

Dont normally write reviews but I couldn't believe people have so much negative stuff to say. AND NONE OF THE NEGATIVE THINGS ARE ABOUT GAMEPLAY. This is just people jumping on the bandwagon to hate on ubisoft.

I highly reccomend this game even with the ubisoft drm.
