An absolute classic format of tower defense, GemCraft has a very simple and satisfying gameplay style. Mixing and matching gems to your preferred style to handle the nearly-endless hordes of monsters, balancing towers, traps, and amplifiers to the field you're playing, with as much or as little spice as you'd like. With optional challenge modifiers and meta progression skills that you can adjust for free whenever you're not actively fending off monsters, along with diabolically challenging vision fields that present a fixed difficulty, there's something for every fan of tower defense games.

If you enjoyed Vampire Survivors and got bored of it, this is the game for you!

This game gave me food I didn't even know I was starving for. 10/10, phenomenal experience. Excellent character writing, relatable protagonist, and a fun level of challenge that can be modified for accessibility. It was also an absolute delight to see chao other than a standard neutral child with zero distinguishing characteristics - the guard chao is an older neutral chao with a high Swim stat, and Swim is used for Defense in Chao Karate! He's perfect! This game is perfect!

My God, It's Full of Serotonin!
