Tactics Ogre: Reborn is Just an absolute treat on the Steam Deck. The original PSP game was already a top-notch SRPG, but the updates give it new life. Purchasing is simplified. Crafting no longer has failures which previously encouraged save scumming to avoid losing precious materials. The moving level cap makes each battle interesting and requires you to actually strategize. AI mode to run through battles if you don't want to grind. Just quality of life improvements across the board. Not to mention the fantastic story with plenty of hidden options and paths. If you are a completionist, there is a LOT of game here to keep you busy.

Another slam hit from Supergiant Games. This time you can seduce and repeatedly kill other gods.

A game where speech options and success/failure rolls truly make a difference.

I started with the strong dumb guy, one of three preset classes. The option to fully customize is there if that is more your style. My character acts first and thinks second. He's a big softie that apologies profusely, but has no qualms shoulder slamming through the back door of your shop before doing so. His mind (which talks to you in game) tells him crazy things that he can't put to words without screwing up, so he often just nods his head and rolls with the punches. This gets him in trouble more often than not. The game accounts for all of this which is seriously impressive. I am barely 2 hours in and cannot wait to play different characters to see what other shenanigans I get in to.

Be warned that this game has a lot of reading (covering some sensitive topics) with a few typos, but it's all fantastic so far. I can't count the number of times it had me laughing out loud already.

Update: The typos have been fixed and even more languages have been added! This game is an absolute steal.

Update 2: Full voice acting, more achievements, and more brain shenanigans.

This game is basically a very long episode from the show, in a great way. If you enjoy the show in any capacity, you owe it to yourself to give this a shot.
