This game was a blast with the HTC Vive, but ever since I switched to WMR headsets (Odyssey+ and Reverb G2), the notes don't come in correctly. They're either 3 feet above my head or going under the floor. Where nearly every other rhythm-vr / fitness-vr game has a setting, there is zero height adjustment. It's sad because it puts me dead center into the gym, the alignment of the space is perfect, but the notes just don't go where they're supposed to. I've tried going back through the WMR boundary setup, adjusting floor height, using OVR Advanced Settings, nothing fixes the notes. For an "Award Winning" game, the devs should do something to fix this issue. It's literally all over the internet for WMR users and there's no fix. So yea, if you rock a base station VR headset like half the world, you're golden, but if you're a WMR headset user like the other half, it's a big "thanks for the cash, now go play something else". Shame on the devs for pissing on the rest of us.

I purchased this while it was on sale for the Steam Summer Sale... I didn't know what to expect, since I hadn't really paid much attention to it at its higher price tag... It was only $39.99, though, and I had just made my first ever purchases on Steam during their Summer Sale... most of the purchases were couch co-op games, because my roommate is a girl gamer, and my girlfriend likes playing casual games with me...

I have a 1080P 3D Projector from ViewSonic and a 115" pull-down screen for my projector, as well as a 5.1 surround sound system attached... I read several reviews praising the Steam Link and it's speed over ethernet. I got mine (wow, it's the size of a portable external harddrive!), plugged it into my gigabit ethernet line that my PC is also connected to, finished the setup, and did my first playthrough of Portal in about 4 hours using a Blueooth Keyboard and Mouse on my projector. It was Un-Freaking-Believable!! 1080P@60FPS CONSTANT on Ultra Settings on ALL my games.

Keep in mind, this will only stream games as well as your PC can run them natively... If your PC can't run a game at ultra settings with 60FPS, you will only get what your PC is capable of doing... this is basically a remote viewing device with added peripheral capabilities...

With that in mind, I have a serious gaming rig (I'm a Twitch Streamer), so I rock out in front of my triple-screen setup most of the time, and rarely if ever played games on my projector because I hated moving my PC (imagine disconnecting three screens, two webcams, a printer, power cable, gigabit ethernet, elgato capture device, optical wires to a 5.1 setup, etc it's nauseating!!) ... This Steam Link is so freaking good, I'm gonna get another one for the bedroom!! Couple this with the fact that it can run off of every connected computer in the house that's running Steam and it's LITERALLY THE BEST GAMING PURCHASE I'VE MADE IN YEARS!!!

Only caveat is that it takes control of your primary monitor and functions as if you're in front of the computer, so don't expect to use this and free up your computer for someone else to do work on or surf the dark webs or whatever. I'm going to see if I can make a Virtual Machine that has direct access to the hardware and put Steam in it and run it as a steam host as a way to bypass this, and if it can be done, it would be literally the greatest PC gaming invention in the history of ever.

I currently use a USB hub with 4 x wired Logitech F310 controllers built into it and it's fantastic! 4-player gaming is AWESOME and my roommate, her bf, and my gf and I have had many nights vegging out and playing Assault Android Cactus, Gauntlet, GIBZ, and more! Seriously if you're even THINKING you might want to give this a try, DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!

I run a computer repair company and this has my HUGE STAMP OF APPROVAL #RADComputersHUGESTAMPOFAPPROVAL

This game is pretty fun for an early access game, but still needs some work to the code itself. For some reason, the game only launches on Steam Link once. Once you close out, future launches of Gibz on the steam link wind up crashing Steam on the host PC. My second complaint is that it's not clear in the beginning that you have to create the characters before you can assign a controller to them. It would make more sense if you could pick up a controller on a fresh install of the game and say "create character" on that controller, rather than having to create the character through the game then assign a controller to it. Aside for this, seems pretty good so far. Props to the dev!
