No games, No server browser. This game shouldn't be marketed as multiplayer because it doesn't work. They could have put a browser in, they have had ample reason to.

Cannot join friends game. Error code Tarija 0015.
All of the googling leads to nothing. My internet is fast, fine and hardwired. This is clearly a server side issue with Ubisoft. I have no issue with other game servers.
I played this on console and it was fun, but the amount of technical problems on pc, they fact I cannot play this with my friends, Co Op shooter, should work.
Fix your servers Ubisoft.

Early Access Review
I reviewed this game negatively, but I've found a workaround.
This game has a lot of potential, single developer and I'm happy with the current experience for the $35 I paid for it.
If your autosave breaks, change it from 5min to 10min, seems bugged. Also F5 Is quicksave (it's not in the menu).

Very fun, true sandbox, highly recommend getting this when it's further along.

Very swat, much tactical, such fun, wow. Patches don't nerf everything. 10/10

This game makes you use a broken launcher where you have to log in multiple times with multiple stages of verification, then the game crashes for no reason.
I don't recommend this experience to others. The game hasn't gotten better and they're always selling a battle pass.
Battlefield needs more good gameplay and no more micro transactions.

The devs don't get it. The promised buffs have all been miniscule, the nerfs continue and are the main issue. Every gun is less accurate, less ammo, more enemy health. The game was so fun on launch. It isn't fun anymore. Barely any players. Used to have 30k players on a quiet day doing the major order. Now it's 500-900, sometimes a couple thousand on a busier day. 15k max on a busy weekend (not common).

The game is arbitrarily less, fun, 3 awful patches in a row, the game hasn't been fun for a while, and I don't recomend spending any time on it. Most of my hours are from the first few months. And now I'm lucky to add 40 mins in a week. Highly advise against playing this game.
We've been patient, but the devs are too out of touch to get it.

This game is a must play, if you grew up on RPG's like Mass Effect and Kotor, and just want an incredibly well performed, well written and full immersive story where all of your choices have multiple outcomes from ending, to throughout your play, this is it.
The score is incredible, fun and epic, the characters are written better than anything else right now.
This game teaches you how the play DnD, multiplayer is included because yes, we should be able to play with our friends. It's fun, immersive and my god the depth. first run took me nearly 120h of gameplay, this game is dense and clearly a labour of love.

I wrote a review recomending to wait for the 3rd act to be patched before starting only to find your fully invested and now have a buggy un-immersive experience. I feel it's good enough to recommend now. Just don't be too surprised if 3rd act is still a little rought.

While I still think the 3rd Act needs work, Larian have been relentlessly busy releasing fixes, and I think they're going to continue doing so until Act 3 Matches Act 1 and 2

Alright, I played this after the new DS, now that doesn't take away from this game, but it is very comparable. The gameplay is different, more cqb hand to hand which really plays into the prison setting.
The game is short, if that's important to you, wait for a sale.
The game also looks incredible. Now I didn't play it at launch. But the actors look very good, expressions are movie like, this game is very cinematic. The sweat really pulls me in when I'm in the moist gross environment. The lighting is really good too, very much taking advantage of the new 4090's capabilities. I did get a little lag late in the game, but it's possible that would have stopped if I rebooted.
The animation on the monsters looks awesome, watching something peel itself off the wall, I'm truly impressed by the level of detail. The sound is nothing short of perfect, less music heavy than DS which gives it a fresh feel. The creature design is nothing less than what I'd expect.

Now onto the bad, the length. The game is probably half the length I expected. When I realised I was near the end, I was a little disappointed.
Some of the boss fights must be done using firearms, which sucks if you're playing melee heavy and does take you off guard (don't melee two heads).
And minor (you could infer from this, but I'm gonna be very vague)

The game ends, but leaves too many unanswered questions, which at the end of such a short game left me feeling unsatisfied.
The ending is also a big cliffhanger, which needs a sequel or more likely dlc.
It is very concerning that the 'ending' of a game can be held hostage with dlc, especially for a full price game that is so short. I'm a fan, I'll get the next one, but don't expect anyone else to. I'm niche fan of cosmic horror, and if you're like me, and you enjoy this for what it is (on sale) you will enjoy this example of next gen horror.

Such a beautiful remake. I only played the original well after the release and found it too dated to get into. But this one improves on the original greatly especially the lighting. This game is properly unnerving. Technically brilliant, all the sound and effects. Gameplay is fantastic, I hope they remake all the dead space titles and continue the series.
Finished it, so keen for another run.

Tried to play this during the long weekend.
The game makes you register, which take about 10 mins if you're trying to recover your old account.
Then the game crashes from being alt tabbed, then it crashes when you skip the infinity ward video.
Then it taks 3 minutes to 'connect to online services'
then it has the gaul to make you watch a 4 minute unskippable trailer for the game you're trying to play.
Infinity ward is still pumping out shameless games, after all that, it asks you 3 times in a row if you want to buy the battlepass.
What the hell I can't even get to a minute of gameplay without being advertised to for 7.
