Great game, addictive and scratches that itch of hardcore games very well. New players beware though you will die many times, but don't give up, soon you will start survive more and more. No need to buy the game unless you like it and want to support devs at the start since the free portion gives good impression of the game loop. High roller is hard enough that you don't really need it at the start anyway since you wouldn't survive past first enemies. (Have played for few hundred hours on early access outside of steam and will continue to play for many more)

Overall the game is as much as it was expected. The lore is deep and the hidden pieces you must find, to gather it together, makes my bones chill. Game's mechanics have improved a lot from last games and it makes the game a lot smoother to play. Although I do have to point out that the dual wielding stance mechanics took a step back by limiting the build variety by replacing the great system of Dark Souls 2 to few selected dual wield weapons. That however is not a big concern when you think about the whole picture. Definitely a must play experience for those who seek something that gives in depth value for your money and not just shallow generic story.
