Shell of Payday 2 :(

Great gameplay other than some pretty severe bugs. Sadly gotta give the game negative review due to Fatshark prioritizing having their predatory premium currency FOMO cash shop on launch over fixing the actual bugs that riddled the beta and were still present in the game's release.

I understand that the Tide series are a live service model, but it seems like a scummy move to implement this terrible cosmetic cash shop model before Darktide is a full-feature game. With the game currently missing 3/4 of the crafting options, as well as missing many promises Fatshark put out themselves and told us to expect on release the game feels disappointing.

It's really sad to see Fatshark not carry over the precedents they set in Vermintide 2. The game was out for almost 2 years before they added a cosmetic cash shop, but at least then you could pay with straight cash instead of a predatory premium currency system..

Sad to see a great game that I've been looking forward to for so long, have such a dumpster fire of an implementation.

Very fun to play with friends. Some classes seem much stronger than others though.
