This game really is something.
Take the S.T.A.L.K.E.R gameplay, the "manage your base" mechanic from Escape from Tarkov and add a lot of good VR interaction mechanics.
I've done almost 7 hours already and I bought this game 3 days ago.

The experience this game has to offer, is truly something.
You start your day in your base, you check the list of missions available and choose the one you fancy the most, then you get ready for the trip. Grab what you need and put it in you backpack.
Food? Check.
Ammo? Check.
Medical Supplies? Check.
Spare magazines already loaded for your weapons, just in case you do not have the time for refilling your empty magazines? Check.
Probes? Check.
Flashlight and flares? Check.
How much time before the tide?
Once everything is good, always double checking the state of your weapons and magazine, eventually cleaning them before bringing those with you, you venture inside the thick fog outside your base, on the other side of it, you find yourself "Into the radius."
A quick look on the map and your surroundings, note where you are and then you're ready for the trip. You start moving towards your objective, dodging static anomalies that can quickly kill you, always taking a look at you wristwatch telling you the time. Night time makes you less visible, but enemies are harder to see too, it's a trade off, and it can be a dangerous one, expecially if you are going to a new place.
Moving around you might spot enemies far away from you. It's your call to just ignore them, get closer and go for a stealth kill or just open fire and start hitting them from the distance. You might find some abandoned constructions during your trip, you can go in for loot but always keeping an eye for any kind of anomaly. It takes one bad step and your health can be halved.
"The Radius" is no joke.
You'll eventually finish your mission objective and then it's your call, you can stay out for more, taking in more loot with you, or you can start heading home.
Whatever you choose you can't lower your guard now. You are carrying a lot more stuff than you started with, between the gathered loot and quest items, your backpack is full of valuable stuff, your ammos will be lower than the usual, expecially if you had some harsh fights and then the game begins to feel like a real survival situation.
If you die, you gotta go back and recover all of your items in your backpack, and if you die again while trying to get that loot back, it's gone. Sometimes, you need to start running, avoiding static anomalies and hiding from the moving ones.
This game will make you feel really good when you finally are back home.
The return from the trip, the emptying of your backpack and sorting everything in your house, choosing what to sell and what to keep, cleaning your trusty weapons and getting ready for a new expedition is what sealed the deal for me.

Into the Radius VR has an awesome feel. Until now, I haven't played a better VR game than this. The survival, the atmosphere, the immersion, it's all on point.
Some jank and some small bugs are present here and there, but it's definitely one of the best experiences you can have right now in VR.
