Life is Strange remains an emotionally charged narrative about friendship, identity, and the consequences of choice. Players step into the shoes of Max Caulfield, a high school student who discovers her ability to rewind time. This unique mechanic not only drives the gameplay but also serves as a metaphor for the complexities of adolescence and the weight of decisions. Themes of loss, mental health, and social issues are explored with sensitivity, making the narrative feel relevant and relatable.

Visually, the game is stunning. The remaster upgrade added modern detailing to characters giving them a more realistic feel to them. They also added richer colours and better lighting to enhance atmosphere to polish the characters on what they originally were.

The carefully curated indie tracks complement the narrative beautifully, immersing players in the world of Arcadia Bay. They were able to capture the moods of various scenes, enhancing the emotional landscape the game offers.

LiS is so emotionally taxing, I felt like crying so much. This game hits you harder than being heartbroken. There is some magic that compels me to find out more on the world of Life is Strange. The story is nothing but an engaging, interactive and emotional piece of work. There is no game out there that will beat this one masterpiece of a series.
